  1. I owned an 03 corrolla for 3 years. At the end of the this time I sold it for a loss of $500 within three days of advertising. Total Costs over three years x 3 Services ( Around $200-$300) x 2 Front tyres x 1 Headlight globe That's it! I had the conquest model which has a few extra options. Highly recommend buying one I'm looking at purchasing another for a family member this year. Saying all of that I wouldn't hestiate to look at the mazda if the price was right.
  2. Hi Marshan, If i recall correctly you push the light forward with your hands and you should feel it pop loose. You can then lift it out and unplug from the harness. No need to remove any panels. To reinstall put in the forward position and then pull back until it clicks into place. Mine intermittenly worked for a few months before i just bought a new one and swapped it over. Not a problem since. Good luck!
  3. Thanks for that I actually used that guide to make sure I had all the necessary parts. What I really need to know is can I just remove the preset up/down commands? I know this isn't really the forum for it I'm just hoping someone else has an alpine setup.
  4. Hi All, I recently swapped out the head unit in my v35 for an Alpine IVE-W530ABT double din unit, I've paired this with a Metra Axxess ASWC however have one issue. The radio stations won't skip between preset stations all they will do is try to tune using the steering wheel controls. I contacted metra support and they said this is the way alpine units are programmed. Has anyone had the same scenario and managed to get around by programming the unit manually? Thanks for any help.
  5. PM sent, Thanks adzr33 but I only need the badge.
  6. Hi All, My Nissan badge on my front grill has started to flake at the edges. Can anyone point me in the direction of a website/vendor who sells these or can I get it direct from Nissan? Is the same badge used on Maxima, Xtrail etc? Thanks
  7. Thanks All, Stock Suspension on 18 inch factory wheels. Yes I expected a firm ride but it seems to "crash" into/over manhole covers. I was thinking perhaps worn shocks or maybe bushes? Replacement shock options is really what I'm after. Recommendations anyone on a reptuable brand?
  8. Hi All, First post here. I have a 2003 v35 which i'm pretty happy with except one thing. The suspension seems to pick up every bump on the road. I realise this is a sports car but some situations such as crossing railway tracks are just shocking. I've been doing some reaserch/searches but can't find what I need. My research shows people seem to lean towards to tokico d-spec shocks and then put them on the softest setting. Has anyone gone down this path? I like the ride height so are there any alternative springs (lighter?) that would help. Any particular combonations that are proven? This is my daily driver so I would like more compliance without totally ruining the handling. Of course I know there will be a trade off. Any suggestions are appreciated,
