  1. Well done on the championship Russ!
  2. Such a cool thing. An E30 M3 was on my shortlist of contenders just before buying the new car, but I couldn't justify the cost. My heart yearns for one!
  3. That's a shame, I really liked the Mini's as a support category. Quite good racing and pretty cool looking little things. It will bevery interesting to see how much they come up at. I agree, I think they'd make a great track car with proven ability and already setup and raring to go. Ahhh yep, I saw one on my105. Hopefully still some good racing. Very cool! S15 Autech engine?
  4. Is it not back next year Neil?
  5. LSM Composites in QLD also make fantastic carbon items. This is the roof scoop (which is for sale ) that they made me. The quality is outstanding, unbelievably good.

  7. Awesome, can't wait to see this get transformed.
  8. *sobs quietly* It's not a WRX... it's an STi brooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
  9. It's a great watch that's for sure. The battles that take place over a number of laps are fantastix, and they're not afraid to have a go!
  10. At least it's not so noticeable on fibreglass as it would be on carbon. I thought about one for the STi but went for the factory option lip instead and it's much nicer. It is however cracking the paint on the front bar in some spots from the forces put against it, but I can live with that. I accidentally tapped a gutter when parking one day, and ended up with a few scrapes on it. If it was carbon it would have been destroyed!
  11. Front lips in carbon do look good, but not really practical at all in my opinion. Very expensive part to damage considering it will be the first thing to go if you misjudge a driveway/come off the track etc Nothing beats rubber!
  12. Here's my rear mounted SR20
  13. Topstage here in Melbourne do fantastic carbon work. They've just opened up a new shop, and look to be doing a heap of work on GT3, Sports Sedans and other top race cars: http://www.topstage.com/ Freddy the owner is a great guy to boot
  14. New shell price - $23k New Full Race turbo kit price - $4250
  15. It was a 996 Cup Car guys
  16. Yahoo auctions would be your best bet for TE's Ben. You should be able to pick some up second hand in good condition, but would still be more than the Enkei's me thinks. If not, then perhaps some NT03's??
  17. I still think TE37's and LMGT4's are the nicest rims going around, but I also love Enkei NT03's which would be my choice for a cheap set of wheels.
  18. Definitely do it. I'd been considering some for the STi too, if I hadn't of just bankrupted myself
  19. Me either! Haha I recall you also offering me a go in your car some time ago if ever I was in QLD, so the offer is back at ya mate Haha I really should have a key party, I think I'd take home the prettiest girl in the room... if only it had a key.
  20. It was a shame as it ruined the second session for me as I was watching my mirrors constantly and driving very conservatively. The third session was good though, despite it pissing down with rain. I was starting to feel more comfortable, and there were less cars on the track as not many went out in the wet. 1 more session would have been nice though. I can only imagine how much fun turn 1 will be at PI at full throttle. Turn 7/8 would be awesome too I imagine. Can''t get too excited though, it's a little while off yet. Need to start selling some car parts STAT!!
  21. 69 was the deal clincher Yeah, it was pretty much the worst thing that could have happened 4 laps into my first try at EC in a 100k + car. I didn't know what happened, all I knew is that I was fairly worried! Luckily the car had a camera in it, and after they reviewed the footage let me know all was ok. They were very good about the whole thing, and wheeled another car out for us in 10 minutes. Pretty scary incident at 160km/h, but I was super impressed with how well the car held up. I spoke with the guy afterwards and he was fine, apart from being a bit sore. Those crash boxes are fantastic and Radical upgrading my car to the new FIA spec unit was a big positive. That's one of the biggest plus points. I fit in without any issues at all. After getting used to the alien driving position it was fantastic. The only minor issue is heal-toeing is a touch difficult as my foot touches a part of the bodywork but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. The throttle being super responsive doesn't help so I guess it's a familiarity thing. One of the guys in NSW is 6'7 and fits in no worries. Wife swap?
