  1. Top work Troy, love the fist pump when you realise you're going for a 52 Can't wait to get home and download Jack's footage too, I love that car!
  2. Thanks for the comprehensive review! Have you tracked it as yet?
  3. Just as a note on the shocks, and I know a few will disagree with me here, but maybe have a look into some Tein RS's second hand, then have them rebuilt (no longer in production, I don't think). I might look into this myself, as after driving Jack's car home from PI I was amazed at how compliant they were on the street, yet are obviously doing a good job on the track. I know they were modified by Racepace, so it's not just an off the shelf kit, but they were really impressive. Sorry to go off topic, but thought it may be of interest.
  4. That's good to hear. I never thought all that much of the 31's until I went to the PI Historics. Amazing cars, absolutley love them now!
  5. Basically, I've done 4 track days on my tyres, one being a hill climb, and now the car is off the road. So they have meat on them still, and I don't want them to go off with not much use. I'd be using them if I could, believe me!
  6. Looks great guys, good work!
  7. I'll be at Booka Shade too See ya there
  8. Congrats to all that raced yesterday, you put on a good show! A big congrats also to those than ran PB's, nice work Had a ball watching/chatting today... but I really, really, really want my car back now...
  9. If semi comps are stores in a cool place, out of the elements ie inside a house, how long would it be before they started to harden up? Like, are we talking months here, or years? I know it would vary depending on exactly where they're kept, the temps etc, but just looking for a general idea.
  10. Fark, wish I knew this was on!
  11. Just send the cat this way... I'm hungry
  12. hahaha I'll consider it Troy The toughness of these standard engines are surprising me, and I've always been a big advocate of the strength of these engines... I just comp tested 162, 159, 160, 160 on my stock engine Like this Troy??
  13. Nasty Troy... what happened?
  14. As far as the rules were concerned last year, you're right Andrew. I queried this after I busted my CF bonnet and went back to a stocker. I was told I didn't need a secondary latch other than what the factory supplied.
  15. Sorry mate, didn't realise my vic member tag wasn't there. I'm in Melb.
  16. Ahhh, good to hear. How much are these, and are they available?
  17. Really? I like Evo V's Al I'd be stripping it and selling it in parts man, you'll get a lot more for it that way. Sell it as a nice looking stocker (exhaust/filter type deal) and flog the parts, which will be easy.
  18. Hey all, Have a red top SR20DET engine in great condition for sale. Comes complete, minus the turbo and manifold, but if you want this I can arrange to get it back (lent it to a mate). The engines out of a 1991 180sx with around 100,XXX clicks on it as far as I'm aware. It is in MINT condition. I comp tested it yesterday and these were my results: 1 - 162 2 - 158 3 - 160 4 - 160 Always serviced with OWS or Martini fluids while it's been in my posession (3.5 years). Selling because I have another engine being built for it as I didn't want to rebuild this one because there was nothing wrong with it. The engine is still in the car and will be removed once it is sold. It can't be driven though as the manifold is cracked majorly. Located in Melbourne. Price: SOLD PM or reply here Dane
  19. Big pimpin' yacht style, I like it!
