  1. Deal Went to the motor show on sunday. It was alright, same as every other year pretty much. The tarmac rally spec C rexy was very nice, probably my favourite car of the show. Everything else I can just go to chapel st on a saturday night and see
  2. Was an absoultely awesome day, best motor sport event I've ever been to by far, had a blast!! I gained a new respect for the 31's. Love the prep work in them, and they sounded fantastic, especially blasting down the straight split by the VL and followed by the JPS M3. Was music to my ears! Richard, which Alfa was it that you're talking about?
  3. Mclaren F1 & Nicki Whelan will do me nicely, thanks
  4. I can't comment as I've never dealt with them myself, but a guy on the LS1 forums has been dealing with them and it seems that they are quite helpful. He's flying up there to trial there kits before he makes a decision, maybe you should contemplate doing that danoz? Try before you buy
  5. Yeah, but is he saying AFTER that??
  6. hahaha Bris... Looks like I'm gonna have to combine my LS1 with the SR to beat you mate
  7. Resprayed?? What makes you think that?
  8. I'm liking the new GT kit!! Any more details Trent??
  9. Because the 400R was a Nismo produced car. They're all 'Nismo 400R' bars.
  10. Did you replace them with the same pads again Tacker?
  11. haha I can't take all the credit, I knew he had the Ohlins already Project Mu is an odd name... but they do make a good pad I think it's 33 on Sat with a cool change and around mid-20's on Sunday, so it should be nice at PI with the breeze off the water
  12. hahaha looks like the challenge is set! Just need to hire V8 Supercars and learn PI now... Details on said boxes??
  13. hahaha sounds like a plan
  14. Maybe it is going to be for their racing outfits... In all likelyhood it's probably due to Vodafone and Mclaren/Mercedes going with the red and silver because red is for Vodafone, silver is for Mercedes. Vodafone may have wanted to create a likeness with their other sponsored cars to create some brand recognition between the different formulas. They would have more control over the colour schemes for the V8's than they would for the F1's I imagine. I fail to see the problem...
  15. But Vodafone would dictate what colours the cars are to be painted in being the major sponsor?? How do they steal their own scheme??
  16. I spot Nismo/Ohlins, Project MU, Cusco, Ikeya formula and DBA Greg: I'll be down there both days man
  17. From what I understand Holden are the ones compromising their aero packages on the "VE" due to parity rulings. I say "VE' because it's not really a VE... just a VZ in a new suit
  18. As Troy has said you really should never be coming onto boost on the track, as you should already be in your powerband when exiting a corner, and it seems like your powerband is quite good. (More than mine and I never fall off boost, just have to use a lower gear than I'd like at tracks like Winton on some of the corners) May be a bit laggy for motorkhanas. Mine is a bit frustrating on a skidpan and I make full boost in much the same range as you do. If you put a 4.44 LSD into it you may be ok, but it's still manageable if you don't mind kicking the clutch a lot. Either way it's fun
  19. The 19's look awesome, but 18's would def. be the better choice I reckon handling wise
  20. Hey mate, you need to wait until the supp regs and entry forms are available, then you just fill them out and fax them in to the number supplied. Easy as that.
  21. That's one pricey rim job James... Look shlt hot mate!
  22. Congrats guys, I'm sure you'll do a tip top job
  23. Seeya Geoff! Was great meeting you, and I wish you all the best back in sunny Queensland Dane
  24. You messed up Troy... you could have had this... http://www.uniquecarsales.com.au/pls/carsa...mp;photo_flag=1
