I'm going with a few mates, and this coach tour place organises all accomodation etc for us. I'll find the website for you as apparently places are filling up... just need to decide which grandstand to sit in! nice vid btw, I've just recently watched an in car 956 DVD, it's tops
  6. Ok, it's a definate goer now, and I'm about to book a tour into Le Mans and buy my tickets. In regards to seating, what's the standing tickets like?? Or am I really best to grab a grandstand ticket??
  7. Really? That's great to hear! I knew that Hertz have a 997, but didn't know Cayman's/Carreras were readily available through other avenues. If you come across that card and could give me the details it would be very much appreciated mate Thanks Dane
  8. Lucky you weren't in your 205 mate or I doubt you'd still be here, something to be thankful for I guess... Sorry to hear.
  9. Hey, a man's gotta have his bananas doesn't he?? :PBJ: *eats slice of banana cake* Nice work on the career change Sav-waaaaaahhhhh.
  10. They are in a different league to something like the RE050's. They are a full R compound tyre. Major grip, poor wear, not crash hot in the wet.
  11. Nice one James, see you at Le Mans mate! and who knows, maybe monaco too
  12. I love Japanese beers, with Asahi being my favourite, and Kirin and Sapporo being a tied second. I had sapporo for the first time the other day in a can and I really liked it! I'm usually not a can person, but even with 650ml it stayed cold right until the end, was great. You can buy it at The Vineyard in Acland st, was about 10-10.50 a can I think, which wasn't bad considering Coronas were $7.50 or $8
  13. Account manager for a marketing company
  14. I hear ya Aaron, I sold my street rims too
  15. I'm heading to Le Mans in June, then onto London, amsterdam, paris, lucerne, chamonix, monaco, barcelona, italy then to the greek islands Can't wait!

  18. Nope, not entering this round unfortunately. I still haven't commenced the build, so I'm a little while off yet, but just want to get it ready for the start of March as it's going to be a busy car month!
  19. Ahhhh, but the victory dance makes it so
  20. Good read mate, sounds like an awesome trip! I'm heading over to Le Mans this year, and I'll be passing through Germany so I really hope to be able to make a visit to the Nurburgring. Would love to hire a car and do a lap or two, but I doubt the rental companies would look too kindly on a 22 year old international
  21. Ahhh very cool, will be great to see a silvia out there! Just took a look at the Rookie rallye, this is the first I've heard of it. Seems to be a good thing, especially compared to say Dutton rally.
  22. Bang! *does victory dance*
  23. The long track?? In what?? And Shane, I wouldn't worry about not liking the track days, you'll be hooked Also, sorry about the delay in sending those pics, I haven't had access to my other computer. I'll send what I've got through to you now.
