  1. Shame they don't have a twin scroll T3 housing option, and that the smallest twin scroll in the T4 setup is 0.95 at this stage. Will definitely be keeping an eye on these though.
  2. Yep. Not sure. Mine is quite close, but I didn't do it.
  3. Dan, you'll have to put the blue triangle on if you're going to race with SAU/WRX club.
  4. Balls! Hopefully that doesn't happen for a while, I just bought something from Amazon 5 minutes ago
  5. I always thought it was the total value inclusive of shipping. Learn something new everyday!
  6. Any pics of it after it was converted to race?
  7. I kept mine below 1k and saved myself the GST/import duty component
  8. Yep, around $300 for four tyres depending on location and how big the tyres are. Great service.

This engine has been built and running before. A failed oil pump caused damage on initial start up and damaged the cams and cam tunnel. The motor then completed 15 laps of Winton, was pulled apart because of a minor oil leak from one of the unused bolt holes in the GTi-R oil pump. I then removed it from the care of those engine builders and have had it put back together with all new parts, inlcuding new cams, gaskets, bearings and a quality used crank. Machining by Blackwell Race Engine, and assembly being done by friends of mine, one of whom is an ex V8 Supercar engine builder. Inspection welcome. If you want an absolute torque monster with all the good bits without the hassle and expense of getting it built yourself (and believe me it can be a major hassle) then this may be for you. Plenum/fuel rail and injectors not included, long block only. Any questions please email me. Can deliver interstate/pick up available. Also listed on Ebay. Price: $9000 or reasonable offer.
  10. I would have gone for a dual plane element version had one popped up, but as I wasn't about to spend $2500 plus on a wing I took what was available in the right sort of sizing for the car, in excellent condition. Most wings were too small. I was also quite set on either the C-West or Voltex as I wanted something proven, and the Voltex popped up first. I actually used to have a dual plane C-West but in aluminium. I was defected my first week of having it on so I got rid of it! It was also a bit heavy, noisy and not wide enough. With the correct front bar with dive planes, mated to a nice undetray, chopped rear bar with diffuser I think it would make meaningful gains in cornering force - but what do I know! Something like this:
  11. I bought one earlier this year, amd yet to try it though. Supposedly the ducks guts though, so we'll see.
  12. I agree with all of the above. HD is not a concern for me. Honestly, the footage I get from my POV 1 is fine (though sound is shite), and as long as it's as good as that (which I know it is) then it's all good. I pretty much exclusively watch it on my computer anyway so it's no big deal. With getting money back from selling off the POV 1 cam, it's a very appealing deal indeed.
  13. Sure thing mate, PM sent This threads is not alerting me via email of replies for some reason, so best to call me on the number provided.
  14. Sorry, £995 so $1600 AUD + freight/taxes though they may be able to knock off VAT?? Would be worth enquiring. They're not HD I don't think, but it's a lot of logger for the money in my opinion. It's a nicer option than having a camera setup and a logger setup seperately.
  15. The VBOX Lite with 2 cameras is 975 so much more reasonable.
  16. That's a real shame, as from all reports I'd heard the event was great fun this year. Hopefully someone comes to their senses..
  17. Very true, number one thing is fit. Also as a side not, Bell's are quite large on the top and do not have as much clearance as Arai's do - something to consider if head room is at a premium.
  18. Not sure about drags, but I imported my BELL and have had no issues with scrutineering.
  19. It is indeed the black S13. I was pretty happy with the day, though I only did 3 sessions. A 1:40.7 is 2.8 seconds faster than last time without the exhaust and swaybars so I was happy enough with that. In the second session the car was misfiring under full load in 4th gear and the engine light came on. I got a little worried, but went out again to see if there was issues and all seemed ok, but my pads were worn quite badly and I was having trouble slowing it for the Essess so thought I'd call it a day to make sure I could get home!
  20. The VBOX lite is a fair bit cheaper, and that's what I'd be going for. Looks to be quite good value, especially up against the STACK logging and video equipment equipment.
  21. Well done Russ, 34 is flyiiiiiiiiiiing mate! And Ant, looks like it's 33's or bust next time for you mate, awesome job. I'm astounded at how much the times keep dropping. Real testament to how well the drivers are pedalling these things. Dougmo, great job too mate. Fly that SR20 flag!
  22. Wow, serious business! Will be very cool to see it out on track once it's all complete.
  23. So the new Federal semi is widely available now? I was enquiring about them a few months back and they were nowhere to be found.
