    Thanks for the feedback guys. Dougmo, which compound do you use, and are they readily available here?? The caliper that comes with the kit is the Superlite 4, so I'll have a look into the piston size. I wouldn't mind going the Superlite 6, but it's probably a bit overkill, and I'm going to have trouble getting them inside a 17 inch rim...

    In regards to the seat, measure the base, and if not too wide you'll probably get away with using Bride rails. It's an easy option, and will sit you lower. PS I'm gonna need some photo's of the brakes on the car... and some time alone...

    haha I can be the guinea pig!! I'm very tempted at the moment... Basically I've found a full kit that uses the superlite 4 piston caliper, a two piece 330mm rotor, braided lines, pads, bias valve, brackets etc for not much money... basically a little bit more than it would cost me to buy caliper extension brackets, rebuild my existing 32 4 pots, and getting some DBA 5000's, so yes, very tempting...

    It is one or the other. Driver training allows an instructor to go in the car with you, but you're only supposed to go about 80%. Normal entry is by yourself and full speed.

    a 14.5 is an S14 with an S15 front. An S14a is what you're referring to.
