  1. Do you know they're losing money, or is it a guess/grapevine chat?
  2. Yes it does. You need the measurements of seats that they take, and different ones will allow for different heights. Is it a bottom or side mount you're after?
  3. I think you have to be a member to view Ian.
  4. Nice one, thanks. I might drop Justin a line and see what his thoughts are on Radicals.
  5. Recorded it on Foxtel at the start of August mate, sorry!
  6. Are you able to run your new jigger with the WRX club? Jess was telling me that in NSW these sorts of cars are often forced to run on other days with similar machinery.
  7. I agree on the overpriced part, they can be had for a lot cheaper ex-UK with a bit spent on fixing them up though. There will be a dedicated series for them next year though, which is appealing. What sort of lap times are the Juno's and West WR1000's running? What else is quicker that's a genuine 2 seater (big appeal for me) with proper Australian support? Bris: Can't wait to see the vid of the 240 at SPA. I have a massive hankering to go there ever since I saw your R400 vids. Was watching the 24hr GT2 last night and it looks like such an awesome track, especially in something light with aero through Eau Rouge!
  8. That's the big appeal Troy, nothing comes close for the money... or for any money really. Though A GT3 would be oh-so-awesome, but maintenance on that would be astronomical if something major fails. So what's up next on the agenda? Are you taking the Superlight to all the tracks, or are you going to do what I hope you do, and get an R500 and smash it around the 'ring????!!
  9. I've been dealing with Byron who's been very helpful, nice guy. I'm really keen to try one with the sequential box without the paddle shift, and would love to try out one of the cars they have for sale. I saw that SR3 from Fricker for sale, very nice looking car and a good spec too. Do you know how much he sold it for by any chance? If you do and could PM me it would really be helpful in knowing what to pay! And sorry Bris, back to Silverstone!
  10. Yeah, I'm quite nervous/excited to go and take them out for a few laps, will be a real buzz I'm sure! I'm contemplating selling the 180 and buying one so it will be a good tester to see if that's the way I want to go. They've been great to deal with thus far, and a mate and his dad are coming with me so it should be a great day. Hope the weather holds out... Did you drive an SR3 RS? Will definitely post the vid up when I'm done, if I don't embarass myself too much that is
  11. Yeah it was. I could have done with some more head height, but it should be fine for you though.
  12. Bride Superlows have adjustment left-to-right in them. As to whether it is enough I don't know, but I never felt as though I was sitting askew once I adjusted mine.
  13. Nice write up, pics an vids Troy. Some serious machinery in those pits - especially the Carrera GT! The sight of all those Radicals makes me moist... and even more excited for the day I have booked in to drive them at EC in a few weeks time Are you coming back to Aus after this trip?
  14. It helps locate the waist strap and keep it where it's supposed to be, so helps everywhere. RPM is a Revolution Racegear brand, so they're usually well priced. $150 is super cheap though.
  15. Then you have to be a tall gorilla like me to reach the pedals! But the Recaro fits me my perfectly formed body better anyways
  16. I'd advise getting the crotch strap too, much better. Awesome seats, though my shoulders only fit into the XL versions, and the XL versions don't fit off the shelf rails. Yup, 10 years now so it just got a whole lot cheaper.
  17. Agreed on the adjusters on the RPM units Ben, very easy to use. One thing I dislike about my OMP's is the side buckle adjusters. They're quite difficult to use and in a poor position, my old Willans units was much more user friendly. Also very much agreed on the crotch strap, they hold you in much better than the 4 point units, just be sure to get one that fits nicely around the crown jewels
  18. They're all pretty similar at the top end. Try buying them from overseas if you want to save a buck. OMP, Willans, Sabelt, Takata etc are all reputable brands. Be aware of Takata fakes though.
  19. What kind of Mic is that Mark?
  20. Thanks Tim. That first unit is reasonably priced from the 'states and seems like a good thing
  21. Hey guys, any suggestions for a good external mic for the POV1/1.5 cams?
  22. It's depressing how cheap the POV1.5 is now External mic is dfefinitely the go though. Sound is what let's the side down in my opinion. Other than that it's fantastically easy to use and very durable.
  23. Works Concept was good to deal with for performance bits and bobs. Will buy from them again. Bought my race suit from http://www.motorspotstore.com/ and helmet from Bellhelmets.com, also great to deal with. Also had some tyres arerive from tirerack.com yesterday. Excellent service.
  24. Yep. That one met an unfortunate end at the old Morwell track many moons ago.
  25. Nice vids Ant Greg: I've never heard my car before, thanks!
