  1. Ahhhhh cool cool I'm not too sure about kick off time, it's up to you guys, and possibly Dave?? Ray has also offered me a pretty good price and can do it this week, so maybe that could be the best option as I feel a little bad about putting everyone out like this... Just have to see whether I can russel up the money to do it.
  2. yep, just old out and new in. The only issue is with the rear main seal, which may require some silicone around it due to block damage. Do I put shlt oil in, then good oil once it's run in, or just good stuff straight away?
  3. Yeah it is. It's still driveable, it just doesn't like low speeds in first and second gear, or going into gears all the time... Nothing needs to be replaced as far as I'm aware, and the flywheel should be fine. It was all out of the car last week, and everything was fine, apart from some minor hairline fractures in the clutch plates. But I may leave that until the off season to fix
  4. Really Dave?? That would be awesome too mate, thanks for the offer. I was a little worried about taking it to RE as I didn't want Ray to have to stay around all night while we attempt to fix my box (that one was for you Bec!). So that may be the better option. I should know everything I need to know by this evening, so I'll keep everyone informed. Bec: hahaha I wanted to, but was wary of the female audience Not too sure yet, should know evrything by this evening. I'll find out about the TV
  5. Thanks Bec! new thread about my box here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=119053
  6. hey guys, Just starting a new thread for this. Ray (SXR) from RE customs has kindly offered us the use of his workshop on thursday night. What do you think everyone, is it do-able?? The shop is just off Westall rd, right near the corner od westall and dandy rd in springvale. I'm stressed just thinking about this...
  7. I'm trying mate, I'm trying!! Bec: RE customs is just off westall rd in springvale, near the corner of westall and dandy rd I'll start a new thread

  9. Thanks for that Shan. The only issue is a lack of funds to get the box in before DECA, otherwise the car is down at Sam's (Dr Drift) and I could probably get it done this week. But having to buy the other box has seriously depleted the bank account... Chris: Thanks for the offer mate, much appreciated. The boxes are usually pretty easy to put in as far as I'm aware, the only issue may be pulling the external gate off in order to tilt the engine. Silva33: Thanks mate, if everyones up for the job that would be great!! I can't say how much I appreciate all these offers guys, shows what a great car club this is. I owe everyone a beer!!
  10. offset calculator http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
  11. My clutch is having slight issues... I've got some hairline fractures in the plates, but I don't know how long it's been like that. It seems to be working fine, but Sam seems to think that it may not be disengaging completely. We noticed it was like this before I went to morwell, so obviously it's been like that for a while and hasn't seem to have affected it too much. He's pricing me up a rebuild kit for it at the moment. So as far as I'm aware it's only changing the box. The only issue I could see is that the block looks like it has been hacked a little bit with a screwdriver, so when they put the rear main seal in they had to silicon it a little bit to ensure it didn't leak, which it didn't, well at least for the 24 hours I had it back I would love to be able to give it a go, however I'm not that mechanically minded, so I don't know how much help I will be, but I can follow orders! The major issue is somewhere to do it, as I don't have a garage/undercover area. I'll see if I can fin anywhere. Thanks so much for the offers guys, I really appreciate it Dave: If I bust the clubbie I'm really f**ked!! haha I'm really taking it easy until I can afford to replace the clutch in it... might have to settle for getting whooped by Juz, or we can put the box in the 180 and I can whoop her good haha

  17. Hey Troy, that's a top idea mate. Is there much work involved in it?? Bec: Hopefully it'll be ready by sandown, if I can afford to fix it by then, so we'll see, but fingers crossed!! I really want to go to sandown again! John: sure did my friend... BANG So who wants to donate me a dog box??
  18. Thanks for the offers guys, really appreciate it!! If you guys are up for it, then so am I!! I'm spewing that I'm going to miss DECA, such a killer.
