  1. yeah, they're tough to come by. A lot of the time they have less side bolster, or wrap around the shoulders more. I haven't ever seen one exactly the same.
  2. looking for a matching pair??
  3. Hey guys, putting my seats up for sale as I've spotted something else I want to buy 1.Velo GP-90 - it's an XL or XXL size, quite large and good for people with broad shoulders. FIA apporved and ADR approved, so road legal! - SOLD PM or reply here Dane
  4. if alpha doesn't take it let me know as I will Dane
  5. Juz and myself will cruise down for this
  6. I've done it from Canberra to Vic before, and basically the RWC from another state means jack, you'll need to get a new one in your state of registration. The only benefit of getting an interstate RWC is that you've got a better chance of passing roadworthy easily, as technically it should be up to scratch. The reality may be something else entirely though...
  7. they look awesome dude, suit the shape perfectly. But yeah, you'll most likely have clearance issues
  8. you mean you're not??! I feel so dirty...
  9. ahhh cool cool, yeah I get ya Henry only has bride side mounts in stock, but apparently they fit a 475mm base, so maybe it will fit fingers crossed...
  10. Jack, is the rail you got a side or bottom mount type??
  11. ahhhh that's great news Thanks a lot for that Jack, you're a lifesaver my friend!!
  12. it's a km or two down from revolution in mitcham
  13. Yeah Henry's a great guy, I've bought a few things through him now and he always offers great service, and is really nice to boot The seat only came with one sidemount (bought it second hand), so I'llpop into revolution before I go to RMS and pick up some side mounts. This low max sounds the business! That's why I love the bride that I have now, as it sits me about an inch lower than the stock rails, just enough room for a helmet Also, you wouldn't happen to know how wide the bottom of your seat is do you?? I've just measuredmine and it's about 470mm, which is why none of the bride side mount rails fit... thanks Jack Dane
  14. Really?? That's really great to hear!! I'll go in and see Henry on saturday and see if I can trial fit the seat to it, and if it works I'llgrab one. Thanks for that Jack, you may just have made my day!
  15. I've got some Bride bottom mount's at the moment, but this is a side mount type seat. I tested a VL type bride side mount rail today, and the Velo is about an inch too wide as it's an XL (XXL??) version this is going to suck...
  16. it's on the 25th of april I think, but don't quote me on that I'm trying to get missing under boost sorted out with my car now, hopefully without having to order splitfires in and going down that route. now to find rails for this Velo...
  17. Don't worry, I am he was a time waster anyway... a time bandit if you will... so no deal I wasn't sure if I was going to do it anyway, I don't know if I could willingly part with my car... you gonna be at sandown??

  20. hey all, just bought a Velo GP-90 race seat and need to get some custom rails for my s13. I was thinking of going to meridian motorsports, but just curious as to everyones experiences with different places, and what my best option may be. If I could get rails from another manufacturer that fir that'd be ideal as it would save the hassle, does anyone happen to know if they anybody elses rails fit?? thanks in advance Dane
