Hey mate,
I've just recent;y put some of these in my 180 and couldn't be happier. Easily compliant enough for the road, and for mild track use should also be tip top, but I'll let you know after the 11th!
I'm running the jap spec ones, not the aussie modified examples
nah, they're on a widebody 180
Just letting you know so you can get an idea on size/offset
here's a pic, sorry about the size

btw offset can affect performance as it alters your track ie the lower the offset, the larger the track
To give you an idea of dish, I've got 18x9.5 +24 meisters on the front of my 180 and it has roughly 9cm of dish
If you want to know more about this car, pick up the new HPI, they have an article on it.
Gotta love it, full stereo, interior, could be street legal even here in Aus, yet runs a 57 second lap of tsukuba. Very, very impressive
Hey Snowy,
I've been told by a friend who races with the PCV that they have noise testers at sandown and PI, and that I'll be black flagged for exceeding their 95db limit. How strict are they at these events?? ever had any issues??
Went out and bought an FIA approved 4 point Willans on saturday... feck, guess those tyres are going to have to wait...
ahhhh well, as they say, in motorsport if you want to make a small fortune, start with a large one!
I probably wouldn't want them touching either of my cars anyway.... but maybe I can just give them the $5 and they can do a little dance or something... or wash your car...
haha
if you can't even be a successful hooker, but have to be a hooker wannabe then I feel it's my duty to pay the poor girls $5 and get them on the way to their dream
might take the golf down to this, not a hope in hell they're touching the 180
