  1. Just saw a pic of the S13 in question - holy geez!
  2. You're too kind! Agreed. The runs aren't long anough, and not extended periods of full throttle so I wouldn't worry about it. I'd rather have some temp in my oil after having it sit around between runs.
  3. What an Animal! That wing is super rude too... love it
  4. I'd rather drive the STi at DECA to be honest, not much fun putting around the the Radical in first gear with no handbrake. It also takes a long time to warm with the dry sump setup so it's a hell of a lot of running time for not much driving time
  5. We'll send them off in the direction of the nearest shoe store with a credit card (a maxed one... ) and maybe we can get some peace... or an M3 to thrash the panties off! Much the same as when I hired the Radical for the first time. I was sick, and it was raining all day but by God after forking out for the hire, flights and accomodation I was getting in that car! I like the idea of the Megane R26R around the 'ring, would be a hoot me thinks. But buying and selling a car would be even better. I have family in England that could palm it off if I didn't have time to... hmmmmmm
  6. I'm 6'4 Baron. Comfortable for me (and you most likely) is different to most peoples idea of comfortable. If I fit with a helmet on and can splay my legs far enough to get the wheel in between them then I feel as if I'm in a Bentley baby! I can squeeze myself into an FD, but the wheel is a little low. Figure it would probably be the same with an Exige. The Caterham videos that Troy and Snowy put up at Spa looked like outrageous fun so I'd love to give one of them a go for a day, but the whole buying a car and driving to multiple tracks would be too cool. I'm with you all the way on the E36 too The only spanner in the works is that my girlfriend may kill me if I head to Europe with the boys again, so will need to work out some holiday plans with her first! Smooth. I figure if I can squeeze myself into RX3's and 7's then I can probably get into an Exige or Caterham, but don't want to be rudely surprised if I don't and have booked one for a day. I chortled
  7. You too??! I thought I was his only one...
  8. She's a member over at the WRX club guys...
  9. I was thinking about this a few days back actually (you often cross my mind while I'm in bed...). I was going to ask if I would get into an Exige, as I'd always assumed I wouldn't. Have you been in a Caterham before?
  10. There's a name I haven't seen in a while!
  11. I do indeed mate. I think this sort of car would appeal to the same sort of customer base as an Ultima. I'd be looking at their sales rates and trying to go from there. Has your friend put it on display anywhere as yet? Something like the Top Gear Live show or similar could garner a good response. Radical did that at the last one, and we had a test day out at Winton a few months back with potential customers able to go out as passenegers in the car. http://dbsmotorsport.wordpress.com/2011/06/24/winton-test-31062011/
  12. Very cool indeed Nick. Looks very Lotus 2-Eleven-ish to me which is no bad thing. Looks as though it would be a hoot to drive
  13. My S2 RX-7 was red also... small world when it comes to Rotors! After my RX-7 was stolen I received a tip telling me to look into the prominent drag racing workshop that had been looking after the car. Wouldn't surprise me at all to be honest...
  14. Think I'll be doing either Spa or the Burgerring next year too, maybe we'll cross paths...
  15. Embedding doesn't seem to be working, here's a link: http://dbsmotorsport.wordpress.com/2011/01/21/sr3-rs-slalom-video/
  16. I thought it could be quite the joke, but I just loaded a video up and it said the same thing...
  17. Well that's what I'm tossing up at the moment Those few handbrake turns look a bit tight for it though, but it would be a heap of fun with some semi slicks on it and I dare say safer than the WRX too. I'll enter regardless and see what comes of it. Will give you a buzz Russ
  18. I could well be mate, I was born in Sunshine... and I have been known to wear a gold chain... It was a very cool little car. I only owned it for a few months as someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse, but I do regret selling it. Would have been my only car that appreciated in value!
  19. I used to own an RX-3 with a 12a PP too... more reasons for the neighbours to love me...
  20. Thanks Russ. I do remember seeing supp regs for this event last year. I'll track them down as I want to find out eligibility and let you know mate, unless you've come across some for this year?
  21. This reminds me of when I had my RX-7 stolen. I was informing the neighbours from a few doors down who's house it was stolen in front of that it had been nicked, and they said to me "Ahhhh yes, the red car. The one that used to shake our windows everytime you pulled up..." If it ain't a wotor, den it ain't a motor...
