  1. wastegate could be slightly open as well.. Can you hear any tapping when the engine is cold
  2. Dammit!!... why couldn't you be in Melbourne
  3. Im not asking for a service history... basically... How long have you owned it for? Have you serviced it at all during the time you've had it.. IF so rough guesstimate of how often you serviced it... Was the 100,000k service performed I'm assuming you have owned this since 90,000ks... or am i wrong
  4. I saw that it has service history up to 90,000.... Have it had regular services in the last 57,000ks (since you have owned it) One last question... Has the reo been cut to accommodate the FMIC? Just worried about getting a RWC
  5. I assume no RWC... What does it need for RWC? Engine run well? Regular servicing? any issues? paint condition?
  6. I didn't know how to do it.. I googled remove G35 headlights... and BAM! youtube video
  7. I have these lights already.. They come wired so it's a direct plug and play exercise.. The Halos and LEDs come on if you move the stalk to parkers.. They also come on if the lights are set to auto and the headlights come on.. If you want to have the halos/leds always on you will need to cut and connect to something like accessories (so they are always on when the car is on) They DO NOT come with any bare wires.. It is all plug and play if you have the stock HID ballasts/globes and igniters. The current harness on your factory lights are not used at all.. as long as you have the original unhacked car headlight wiring harness (there is no need for this to be modified by compliancing etc so it should be intact and untouched) The indicator bulb that comes with the lights is a dual filament bulb.. so its always on (USA style) You can buy a new bulb or just remove the connectors to the extra filament (takes 10 seconds to remove) Lastly $140 to install these lights is a joke.. it took me maybe just over an hour to do both lights.. I am not a mechanic with access to a hoist.. I did it on my garage floor laying on cardboard with no jacking up involved If you want new Bulbs http://www.ebay.com....#ht_2346wt_1163 I'm very happy with them.. Don't go above 6000k though
  8. My igniters were missing... Purchased some from ebay usa... $120 for 2 delivered
  9. Stock ballast is used
  10. If your factory HIDs are all intact... It takes about an hour Difficulty level... Maybe 2 out of 10... You need a 10mm socket with extension and a phillips head screwdriver
  11. It's the rear axle bearing.. Very common problem with v35 Skylines.. It's nothing major.. Just an annoying sound
  12. Happy to help Melbournians with install
  13. Well hopefully i can redeem my poor form from pulling out from the group buy... I received my headlights last week and as i suspected the HIDs have been removed... However the ballasts are still there.. The headlights are extremely plug and play if you have the factory HIDs still there... Im happy to help any Melbournians with installing their headlights once they receive them
  14. ^^^^^^ thats what i figured... Im just too impaitient for sea shipping
  15. I was sick of the waiting... So decided to pay more and get them now... And have them shipped by air... Bad form? Care factor zero
  16. Ok... i'm out... I went with importmonster... It was more expensive.. but worth it in my opinion.. "I had literally asked so many questions to Jesse streeter that he did mention he cant spend any more time on this buy" After reading this i figured someone who is in the business of importing and one would assume customer service, can't provide time on something.. not a safe bet
  17. Ok im back in... Found some ballasts for $170 if mine aren't there from compliance I want the black housing headlights... 2003 coupe.. Good to be rassured about jesse too... I haven't heard of him before
  18. I'm out based on the lack of information on how hard they will be to fit (wiring) I'll wait for someone else to be the guinea pig.. Plus i'd want to pay via paypal for buyer protection
  19. I'm definitely in, based on what else is needed to fit them... All listings state cars with factory HID's...However, most are removed for compliance.. If it's pretty straight forward to get these working... im in for a BLACK HOUSING set.. 2003 Coupe
  20. Would love a set of 2003 coupe headlights.. black housing.. The listing states only for cars with factory HID's (most are removed with compliance) What would be required to make these lights work correctly?
  21. Bikers Gear Australia good gear.. good prices.. top bloke
  22. DO you still have dual zone climate control? it seems the button is blanked out
  23. Where abouts are you? I'd like to check them out.. I'm pretty sure as they are US lights no amount of adjusting can make them suitable for australian roads.. But i wouldn't mind checking them out at night
