  1. So for noobs like me, what sort of precautions/modifications should be taken into consideration to be better prepared for such instances?

    Sau Tas Club?

Definitely keen on getting the casual meet and/or cruise. As Damo said, track days appear to be organised and under control. Anyone that is keen there is the HeartKids Car & Bike Show on July 3rd. Of course they will all stop at Myrtle Park but driving on for a run through the sideling to Scottsdale and back sounds fun. Can meet and cruise with heaps of cars to start with then ditch for some real fun. HeartKids Car Bike Show Tassie Muscle and Classic Car Cruise. Location: Meeting at 10:30am at the National Automobile Museum of Tasmania, then at 11:30am cruising via Henry Street to Myrtle Park!Time: ‎10:30AM Sunday, July 3rd. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/Heartkidstassie?sk=wall
  3. If funds allow it I will drop in there this week sometime

Yea might not be like BOOM heaps of newbies but thought it might be worth a shot. Better than doing nothing. Get word round whether it be pamphlets, word of mouth, other forums etc.
  5. Huge thanks to Damo yet again. Managed to get my speedo working and repair a snapped wire on one of my knock sensors. Possibly was dodgy connection prior to me snapping wire as I now a full power with no pops/bangs/misfires whatsoever and I now have a working speedo Now touch wood nothing will go wrong so I make the track day in August.

    Sau Tas Club?

Any chance of maybe making pamphlets that we can throw under wipers of skylines that don't have Sau stickers that we see about or something. Whether it be giving them heads up on forums or letting them know we want to start a club with details? Boost Tas member numbers? Just an idea

Sounds like a plan. Maybe get a list made of people who are definitely keen
  10. To end rant how about whether people did or didn't know, may we please be pardoned for this once as it is now officially out there for all to know the facts concerning club stickers and we can have a look at what has already been designed and we work on something individual for our state. Whether it was known or not I'm quite sure that everyone is sorry for any inconvenience it has made for Victorian or any other states members.
  11. Hmm I would be keen for a dyno run to get a 'before' statement before I hit engine modifications. What sort of ride height should I be looking at to actually manage getting on the dyno
  12. Well I thought it was the same everywhere just changing name of state/territiory. Unaware or this individuality from state to state. Obviously something worth looking into. + comments on non profit club....wouldn't costs be to cover cost of manufacturing of stickers and not relying on one person to cover the full cost??
  13. Will post pics when mine arrives. 2 weeks and my CF grill still hasn't arrived from apparently Sydney

Haha damn vented bonnets. I used to score myself swimming spark plugs before putting some silicon round my cover. Glad it going again though mate
  15. I'm going to have to bail. Car not 100% ready and with rego and a multimedia station on layby I got no spare money.
  16. Well as long as you buy your parts so they aren't still buying cheap nasty shite that don't match up you will be right lol
  17. How much for 180 rolling shell? Might know a couple of people who might be interested

Yea I have a GTR style cabron fibre vented bonnet and headlights say R32 GTR (doubt there any differenceto GTS-t). Oh and Funz...I have a Do Luck kit Front bar pretty drift spec and rest of kit pretty shabby so want to get another Do Luck kit. Dunno how I will go with allignment getting 4 door skirts and rear bar with GTR front bar if I get GTR gaurds.

Yea they do look good. Surely there no difference in front gaurds except for GTR gaurds are wider yea? Looking at buying CF GTR grill, CF eyelids, and GTR indicators atm. Wasn't sure on clear indicators and not a fan of the smoked style. Grill should fit. I got GTR style CF bonnet with same nose as one in pic. Not GTS-t where nose dips between headlights.

Well kit comes with bonnet, front bar and fenders so really only need to chase down lights. Rewiring good if you know someone and you would want to hope that thier gaurds etc. would just about bolt straight on. But I dunno. Scratching my head over R34 conversion front, R32 GTR gaurds, or just 30mm wide fibreglass vented gaurds.

Cheers Brian R34 conversion front looks very tempting
