I'm looking at finally replacing my blown RB20 in my R32.. Either with another RB20 or go for a RB25, not too fussed just want it running and back on the road for now. Hi all, I've got an 1992 R32 GTS-T. I'm using it as a daily but I also drift in it. I've done all the relevant suspension mods but i'm now gonna start playing around with the engine. I dont want to do too much to it, my goal is about 300RWHP. But I want quick spool and high torque. All I have mod wise at the moment is a return flow FMIC and a catback exhaust (how I got the car, I haven't touched the engine at all.) I've lots of people tell me different things but I want to get some more opinions on what to do from people that know a little bit more. Goal; 300RWHP out of a RB20DET with quick spool and high torque. Suggestions? K GO!!

Hey Guys, I know its probably been asked before but I cant find anything on it so i'm going to ask again.. but I live in QLD and was thinking about importing an R32 GT-R I have a general idea how much it will cost to get it over here but I don't have any idea how much compliance will cost me. So I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough ball park figure on how much it will cost for the compliance?? And if anyone had any recommendations on good compliance workshops in QLD and even a good site to check out for finding cars to import that would be greatly appreciated. I've been scoping out tradecarview.com at the moment. Cheers!

Hey, I was just wondering if maybe anyone could answer my question...but i need a new A/C compressor in my R32 and was wondering if anyone knew if the A/C compressor out of a 300ZX is the same and if i could just replace my buggered one with the zed one? Anyone know??? Cheers.

I will check that when I get a chance next As well this car was in with you guys not too long before I purchased it, and reading through the receipts it had some kind of misfiring issue. Is it possible this issue could have arisen again?

One more thing with the car as well that I forgot to mention is that it now idles at approx 1700-1900rpm...

We checked em..they were a bit burnt out but we cleaned them and the gap was fine Would it still maybe good to just replace them for arguments sake???

We checked the gap when we inspected the plugs, its at that...and technically speaking it only started once I took it to an aircon place to get a hose replaced for the aircon, then once i got it back it started doing this. I took it back to them complained and asked what they took off to do the job and check them in particular and it all seemed fine...the harness as brand new, no cracks or splits...and i have a nistune ecu installed, i was getting close to 600kms to a tanks when i first got it and no there are no leaks, i have replaced the fuel filter and am running a Bosch 040 fuel pump

I NEED HELP!! I have a 1990 R32 GTS-T and something is wrong with it and I cant work it out... I've only had the car for about a month now and it was running beautifully when I first got it but then all of a sudden a problem has developed with the boost...when I first got it boost would come on at about 4000rpm on full throttle, but now when it hits approx 10psi the car splutters violently and just bunny hops and does nothing but if I keep my foot down long enough then the boost finally kicks in. (For some reason everything works the way its meant to in first gear, sometimes...) Also if I just drive normally not making boost the car drives fine. and it is using an insane amount off fuel as i'm only getting about 200kms to a tank and it puffs black smoke out the exhaust when I try and hit boost. Ever since this started happening I replaced several parts trying to fix it including; - BOV - FPR - Coil packs I was thinking of replacing the Wastegate next.. I've inspected all hoses and lines and they all seem fine, also inspected the spark plugs and are all good. I'm stumped to what might be causing this problem...any ideas?? P.S. The car has a Hypergear ATR43 turbo and is tuned to 15psi
