i was just about to attempt this exact same thing for my 34gtt. only ones i can find for a gtt are 150-180+....and they are not worth that much coin. ill post pics up soon as i bash one out. great job mate! looks killer. btw, how did you go about the 90deg bend? and what thickness plate did you go for? thanks mate

thanks for the info mate. i still havent got around to doing it. maybe when i give them a clean up get the nasty yellow tinge out of them they will looks all nice again.

cheers mate. i dont understand why nissan didnt make the plastic black to start with. but it deff worth the time and effort. i hated looking at the old paint, every time you touch it, it would leave finger prints thats how soft it was.

if any one has the plans done for these that would be awesome. i cant seem to find any decent ones anywhere that i think are worth the money

CF one would look mad, if they do it for a 34 id be very interested.....plus the rubber strip, mine is curling on the left side and looks sticks out like dogs balls!

a mate got it for me, im not too sure were. but it is very similar to this one, http://www.modyourcar.com.au/b31/momo-gotham-gear-knob-p6080 . only difference is that one has Gotham on it.

for the driver side it just pops up, get a flat head screw driver under it and gently pull it up. for the passenger side, you have to take off the whole door card. heres a link on how to do that: R34 Door Card Removal

they are real easy mate, i just did mine. For console, start at gear surround, take the screw out behind the ash tray and then pull the gear surround up gently. and then you can work your way up from there. heres some pics from mine, i used 3M Vinyl Paint - Satin Black. No gloss or primer, IMO looks too cheap when gloss is applied.

true, ill give it a hit with that first, tinting over a faded yellow light will be a shit end product im thinking. Thanks for all your help mate.

sweet as, i might tackle this monday. since they are slightly gone off in the sun, should i restore them first? prob give a better finish im thinking. whats good to use to restore lights?

thanks mate, i might have to give it a go....my reverse lights have a slight yellow tinge to them, they look like ass haha thanks for all your help mate. one more question, how do i go about removing the lights, do they just slip out of screws? thanks champ
