Having lived in Germany for 5 years I can confidently say that Dutch drivers are the worst in Europe. Dutch people are my favourite Europeans but they cant drive well at all. Especially when they come through Germany with their campervans, doing 100kph in the right hand lane and then decide to randomly pull over to the left in front of someone doing 200kph+ I agree with some of the above comments. Its all about driver education and keeping crappy cars off of the road. This is how it is done in Germany. It takes ages to get your licence over there. Many, many practise hours in all conditions are required before you can even sit the test and you cant have good ol' mum and dad teach you how to drive. Its expensive but it creates better drivers. Plus your car needs to be checked every couple of years. I believe that Germany also has a lower road toll per 100,000 cars than Australia does even with having some open Autobahn limits and 80 million people in an area the size of NSW. Unfortunately we will never see anything similar in Aus. Focusing on speeding creates massive income for the government whilst all other (much more effective) methods of reducing accidents would actually cost a lot of money to introduce and enforce. This is the single reason that things will not change.

I think that mine girl also says something related to the sat nav every now and then. It only seems to happen when I get quite a way out of Perth which is why I assume that it is Sat Nav related. Either that or she is warning of potential Godzilla attacks.

On a slightly different note. Does anyone have the option where the doors automatically lock once you start moving? The USDM all seem to have this and when I tried their method for activating it (holding down the lock button for 10secs i think) I do hear an internal 'click' which made me think that it had worked, but no. Maybe there is an option somewhere that needs to be activated?

Totally agree with this. I have had times where the fuel light comes on and it shows 40km till empty. Fill it up and only put 62lt's in. One other time I let it get to zero, drove 5kms and ran out of fuel lol! It really does seem to just guess the amount of fuel left. It may also have something to do with the 'saddle bag' style fuel tank. I don't know if anyone else has taken their fuel pump out but if you ever do, you will see what i mean. I think that the ECU just takes some sort of guesstimate based on the readings from both of the gauges, one on each side of the tank. All i know is that the engineer who designed it should be shot.

Thats correct. It seems like a lot of people got screwed over but I got mine and got a heap of help from the developer to make it work. With a newer phone it would be the perfect solution. Unfortunately the SGS2 kills its own GPS signal when you use video out Now i really just use it for music but the potential is huge. OBD2 gauges, google searches, youtube videos basically anything that your phone can do.

Listed as Type S but based on the small wheels and lack or MT or paddle shift, as mentioned above I think that you will find that it is actually just a base model 370GT. For $27,000 its still not necessarily a bad buy but it is the lowest range 370GT that you can get.

For $27,000 it is going to be either deal of the century or an absolute piece of crap. At that price i would imagine that it wouldn't be an SP, would have higher kms and/or have a pretty low auction grade. Post up more detail though, who knows.

Thats my setup. Haven't got it working exactly the way I want but only because the Samsung SGS2 that i am using is not the best option.
