  1. "....Tomic says he may never drive in Australia again" Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!
  2. I hear that there are some awesome Auction houses in Kazakhstan, you should go there. Plenty of S13's being towed by donkey's, you'll be in heaven. As long as there is no internet there, the rest of us will be in heaven as well.
  3. www.ebay.com
  4. Depends on the car. Realistically importing an $800 car will be a waste of time becuase it will cost more than that for shipping alone. Then add on compliance, new tyres etc and it will be a $4800 car very quickly!
  5. So basically anyone can get an exemption then? Can anyone think of a reason why Tomic would need to be given an exemption? The only thing that I can think of is because his smoking hot gf wont be seen dead in anything worth under $100,000. All I can say is that I sympathize with anyone who says that it is not fair for him to get an exemption when most of you other young guys cant. I have no problem with people getting an exemption in certain situations ie. mechanic etc. but I cannot think of a single legitimate reason for Tomic to get one.
  6. Save yourself some cash and import one.
  7. My two cents. If you can, try to get the likes of Shannans and Just Car insurance involved. Something tells me that Shannans would not like all car enthusiests to be labeled as hoons and probably make a reasonable amount of money from imports and modifed cars.
  8. Lol, wrong car. Sorry I didn't mention V36 in the original post. That Mexican guy sounds like he may have taken a few radios out of cars in the past, if you know what I'm saying, probably does it VERY quickly when he needs to! I wonder if he does a "radio and full set of near new rims" for $100 deal?? Wow that's the most racist thing I've said in a while.........
  9. And to anyone who has a V36......changing all of the globes to LED's is a definite improvement. You don't realise how ugly the old yellow light was until you open the doors and are bathed in white LED glory.......For the $50 or so that it cost and about 1 hour all up to change all of the internal, licence plate and trunk globes, it was DEFINITELY worth it.
  10. Thanks Artz, I found the glovebox light globe removal tool on ebay, $59.95 BARGAIN! I actually managed to get it done without removing the engine, just put it on jack stands, took all four wheels off and rocked the car back and forth for a while. The globe fell out on its own! Just a word of warning, you obviously don't want to rock the car too hard or it may fall off the jack stands. Seriously though........I mucked around for about 10 mins and figured it all out, almost everything on these cars is simply clipped into place so it's all pretty easy. Not sure where I read that half of the dash needed to come out but its all done now and back together.
  11. As per title, I've been searching for a DIY on how to get to the glove box globe. I have replaced all of the globes with LED's and this is the last one but I have read that I need to pull the dash apart a bit to get to it. Have been looking on myg37.com but cant seem to find any instructions. Will keep looking but if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. I dont really want to start pulling the dash apart to find that I am doing it the hard way, but if it comes to that........
  12. Sold my bike 18 months ago and the missus will have my balls if I buy another one, so I no longer need this gear. Jacket is like new with removable water proof lining, size: M HJC AC-11 helmet, Good condition just has a couple of paint chips on the top. size: S DriRider Waterproof pants have never been worn. size: XL Jacket: $130 Helmet: $130 Pants: $20 Or $250 for the lot. Will also throw in the gloves pictured.
  13. I wonder what causes this? Its funny because the after market panasonic system that I put in my old car had the same bug....
  14. Oh yeah. Might be in for a very rude shock soon in that case.
  15. Lol, key charger!!! Change the battery you dofus's!!! Just slide the tab that releases the key, remove it, then use a little screw driver to pop the thing open.
  16. You may have pressed the PROGRAM AUTO.P button down next to the volume dial. That is how you set it to repeat song, repeat album or shuffle(random). I know thats how it works on the Music Box so I would assume that it is the same on CD.
  17. Thanks guys, I'll be able to figure it out from here. Cheers.
  18. Lol, Nice try guys but I think you all wasted your time. I would bet my house that he buys it without an inspection. This guy comes across to me as a used car dealers wet dream.
  19. W.A probably
  20. Ok sorted. Anyone know exactly what it says?
  21. Hmmmmm dont know why the picture didnt work, will sort it out tomorrow but I think that Paul is probably onto something.
  22. My car has been coming up with this message every time I start her up, since coming back from our first long drive up to Geraldton over New Years. We drove around 900km over two days and my missus can read some of the characters and says that it is something along the lines of "set distance......" and then something about the settings. If anyone can translate it or has seen it themselves and knows what it means, please let me know. The car is acting completely normal and with a press of the enter button this message goes away so I am not too worried about it being anything serious. Cheers Al
  23. Yes, yes I can.
  24. iPad fail.......quote doesn't work!
