  1. I only ave good things to say about Jez, great bloke!
  2. Who would have it any other way! All star weekend this weekend as well. I agree that 15kg is a pretty optimistic jump for 11weeks on any exercise, but hopefully i can get it done. Is it a good idea to change up the reps of the assistance exercises each week ie 5 reps one week and then 12 another week and 8 the next etc or should i stick with one?
  3. I started the 120kg, so hopefully 15kg isn't too much of a jump. I'm comfortable with the first 4-weeks and I'm pretty sure I'll get them out, but I don't know about from then onwards. Have to wait and see I guess
  4. That's definently odd...
  5. Righto, I'll try out 3 mins or so and see how I go. I tested out my 1rm for bench yesterday without a spotter (but in my cage with safety's) and I got 105kg. So should I do the 115kg program or 120kg?
  6. That is a nice looking graph for only 17ish psi and a run in tune. Those turbos are a smidge more in terms of $$$ then the standard gt3076 aren't they?
  7. Well there's your problem...
  8. Doing my first PPP session for benching tonight. The first few weeks look a little less intense, but damn does it get wild pretty quick! Is there a designated rest time between sets or is it just going by feel? I know for the assistance it is recommended to keep the rest short.
  9. I would say that is bordering on exclusion in terms of not completely straightening arms and the use of legs. I'm not a nazi so I'd allow it, but others might not...
  10. Agreed, it's like bouncing deadlifts when doing them for reps. You use the elasticity that is stored in the muscle when you don't pause, whereas with the pause you have to generate all the force.
  11. Who knows, I might like it after the first cycle and end up sticking with a similar style of training all year round. I like doing 5x5 instead of seats of 12 that's for sure!
  12. I had a 6 month period where I had extremely low vitamin d deficiency from pretty much never being outside for long. I got sick sooooo much and it actually started effecting my nervous system. I just felt out of it, like an epic hangover, for a month or so and I had trouble understanding people and processing what they said when they spoke to me. Memory went out the window, I pretty much had "brain fog". It was actually really worrying for me at the time because i didn't know what was wrong. After a heap of blood and neurological tests, i just had to get out in the sun and take supplements and I came good within a month or less.
  13. Strength isn't the main focus for me, (but who doesnt want to get stronger) so it's not something I will do all the time. But I will try it out and see how I like it. I have just sort of plateaued on my benching/ shoulder pressing, so I need to change things up a little to see if it can help get over this. Just lifting the same weight all the time isn't going to help me grow. I could also use a bit of added strength on my squats and deads, they are terrible...
  14. I figured this might be the case. I wouldn't mind givin it a crack for 12 weeks. Where does one purchase this program and how much is it?
  15. Damn son, that guy is out of this world!!! Gotta love his attitude though!
  16. Yeh, not really interested in 1rm stuff and it'd be hard to get a true estimate because I train by myself. Definently interested in trying something different though such as PPP to try and get me over the plateau that I'm on at the moment with bench.
  17. Is PPP for 1rm lifts only or can it be used to increase strength or 5+ reps as well?
  18. Markos certainly gets the results out of the guys he trains, so he obviously knows what hes doing. Why wouldnt you train there I say!
  19. Totally beat you to it! You never had me, you never had your car...
  20. Autotech in Hume
  21. Can't fault your form, I reckon it meets the requirements
  22. Didn't you only just get 180 out in your last comp?180x3 is solid squatting, you are certainly making some improvements!
  23. They are getting less and less about the cars though...
