  1. Turbo $1550 plus postage Injectors $700 posted
  2. I always wear vans authentics, my runners have not been worn in the last 2-3 yrs...
  3. didnt you say you have biceps tendonitis? If so, ditch the chins and lat pull downs for sure, unless you were talking biceps femoris tendonitis in which case ditch the squats and deads till its better. Assuming its your arm, which part of the biceps tendon is it? At the distal (where it inserts onto the radius) or at the proximal end (either coracoid process or supraglenoid tubercle)?
  4. I will give front squatting a go i think
  5. Talk about banging some reps out. He bounces the bar off his chest like nothing else, but with 100kg getting that many done regardless, is solid!
  6. Without the bar I can squat down pretty low, but my back gets round as all f**k and my heels come off the ground. When I try to keep heels on the ground I basically fall backwards. So no I can't squat properly even with no weight...
  7. I would love to be able to squat properly (ass to ground style), but my flexibility doesnt allow it at the moment and my right knee doesnt seem to be a huge fan of trying to go lower than parrallel either.
  8. What is a bench shirt?
  9. I think higher reps ranges are the go for calves like people have said. I have crappy calves, my gastrocnemius are literally only 1/3 of the length of my shin so im never going to have big calves due to genetics. I usually pick a weight and go til failure, with both a seated and straight legged exercise . Calves would be predominantly slow twitch fibres due to there function in everyday life and your type IIa fibres will have taken on the characteristics of type I fibres if all you do is walk around.
  10. Would your range get reduced a fair bit benching 60kg dumbells ? They'd hit your chest halfway through the eccentric phase wouldn't they?
  11. What's the go with gyms only going upto 40kg odd in dumbells? Seems like its a rare thing to find a gym that has heavier dumbells. Anyway, props on getting the 50's done! Kasko, if u are ordering from BN, let me know so I can get in on it!
  12. BN is pretty cheap already, what's the bb.com pricing like?
  13. i dont think hgh by itself would be that good, definently need it with other geasr to make it do what you want... In regards to cycling and lifting, i know a fair few tour de france riders have giant quads which would partly be due to all the bike riding they do.
  14. Why is birds banned? Are you gonna order some more do you think? I reckon get a huge one this time if you do...
  15. What do you think the lumbar erectors are? Erector spinae is the blanket term for the muscles that run parrallel to the spine. There is iliocostalis lumborum, spinalis dorsi and longissimus dorsi all in the lumbar region. Deadlifts will also hit quadratic lumborum, but it's not grouped in with the "erector spinae" term. It's just habit for me to refer to them as lumbar erectors to be slightly specific without naming them I guess...
  16. It's right in the lumbar erectors muscle bellies on each side and the tops of my gluts. Tis' a good feeling!
  17. Well my deadlifts I did yesterday have certainly hit my lower back and gluts
  18. Are you guys more oriented toward the powerlifting side of training? I just find I struggle to get decent weight up on deadlifts after doing 4x10 of squats. Doing them on my back day seems to work better for me I think. It allows me to give them my all rather than half assing them because I'm already spent. I was just interested to hear other people's thoughts on how you work them both into your training...
  19. Wear em loud and proud eh? Nah, I hate that carpet burnish feeling I get from scraping the bar up against my shin. I still get it a bit in trackies, but it's not as bad. Hopefully my shin skin will start getting thicker soon. Are people doing deadlifts on leg day or back day? I always seem to do them on back day purely because I like to squat on leg day and I wouldn't be able to get the most out of it if I did them on the same day. I do Bulgarian/straight leg deadlifts on leg day instead which seem to be ok even after squatting.
  20. Note to self, always wear pants on deadlifting day...
  21. Yeh he did!
  22. The beard must be like a Sampson sorta thing! In other exciting news, my abc barbell just turned up an it's gorgeous... Pics to come!
  23. That's a massive total!
