  1. The answer to your problem is simple, more boost! And maybe a big ass wing...
  2. When are they getting here? Which rims did you decide on in the end?
  3. You can buy kando braided line kits on eBay for cheap and they use the push in fitting, but I'm not sure on the quality of the lines in general. Anyone used the kando lines before?
  4. thats a solid looking graph, any boost control on that run or just straight off the gates?
  5. looks quite nice, now get in back in the car and tuned!
  6. I dunno about 11's man, you'll want to have your suspension and tyres sorted and be able to launch perfectly. I think 12.5+ or so might be more realistic
  7. The thing that turns me off dual gates (besides price) is how tight of a fit it will be for everything. So much so that you would probably have to pre assemble everything to get it in and if you wanna take something off for some reason, it might have to come out as a whole thing as well. Is that the case with the one you made up Scotty?
  8. You could do cam gears yourself but to get the most out of them, they need to be adjusted which will be done during the tuning.
  9. Look for rust in and around the boot, lots of under body tar etc and like others have said, worn steering wheels, handbrake leather etc to indicate if kms are real. Definently ask about the plate in the engine bay and compliance papers etc
  10. Shipping is quick through him as well. But I doubt you will get them any cheaper getting them all posted to the same address. The coilovers and the box they come in weighs 45lbs and they are shipped via ups so it's expensive regardless.
  11. You could do most of it yourself, then use the left over for a tune
  12. Are there any known issues like corrosion etc injecting into an alloy cooler pipe? Or are you better off using a bit of stainless?
  13. Well there you go, I stand corrected. Either way, nothing wrong with plain bearing hi flows
  14. Journal are cheaper to rebuild, but I don't think the stock r34 turbo is a bb though?
  15. If you are buying garrett turbos or bc suspension, get in touch with street to track. Has the best prices I've come across
  16. 6boost do a split pulse single gate manifold don't they? Has anyone tried one out? If you are going to the trouble of buying a twin scroll turbo, I would have thought you would get a decent manifold to get the most from it rather than putting the gate off the turbine housing? I was always under the impression people only did the gate off the turbine when wanting to run external gate on the stock manifold
  17. That looks so nice Scotty. Was it expensive? Looks like there would be a fair bit of work in it. Is there much performance loss with running a single gate off a split pulse manifold with a twin scroll turbo? Obviously it won't be as good as a twin gate setup, but do you loose much response, power or torque anywhere?
  18. Have you had it on the dyno recently to check everything out?
  19. Also kasko, that result you were comparing your car to could be on a hub dyno and i think birds' result could have been a hub dyno as well, so keep that in mind. The only true comparison would be to get the all on the same dyno. I wouldn't be worried too much about it to be honest
  20. OP, get in contact with Stao at hypergear and he will sort you out. Alternatively, read the hypergear thread in this section!
  21. Tis decent compression, maybe look at the cooler like was suggested Did Jez drop the exhaust at all to see if it was causing a restriction or were you pressed for time?
  22. What's your compression like across cylinders and how old/how many kms on the engine? Could be the cooler too
  23. Completely understand, tis' only natural...
