  1. Agreed, I always thought they were in the cooler piping right before the throttle body/plenum?
  2. Those should only sit out 2mm more than the +22, yet the front sits out a fair bit more than other photos. I know yours is a 34gtt, but i didnt think they was that much difference between fitment for 33gtst and 34gtt. What camber are you running front and rear? Loving the colour/look of your car !
  3. Looks mint! I cant believe the 265's sit like that on a 9.5 +22, especially on the front. I think when i get new wheels, ill run a thinner tyre on the front and dial out a bit of camber to help with tyre wear. What was the reason for the 7mm spacer in the rear? Inner scrub issues?
  4. that is a meaty looking power curve! What setup are you running again? 6boost high mount twin scroll with a gt3076 running dual wastegates wasnt it? Did you up the boost or just leave it on 18psi?
  5. If you have a series 1, my afm will be of no use. Put your stock bov back on and plumb it back in and I bet the issue gets a lot better
  6. So going off that, they have to tune without the wmi running and get the target afr where the tuner is comfortable with. Then turn on the wmi, see how much the afr drops and lean it out/ add more timing (within safety limits of course) to get it back to the target afr. Sounds logical to me. Might be worth getting them to save a copy of the non wmi tune and give it to you so you have a copy of a safe tune that you can run without having to worry about not boosting etc if something plays up on the kit. That is presuming the ecu doesnt have te ability to swap over maps Eg nistune and power fc
  7. Exactly my thoughts, stick to the same mix all the way through and itll be fine
  8. Yeh man we have several, couple in fyshwick and queanbeyan Didnt know about the by weight measuring, it shouldnt be to hard to work ou with basic chemistry anyway. As long as you mix in the same proportions everytime/ the same as you tuned with and as long as you mix it in a well vented area it should be fine really
  9. You can get them from rocket or a seller has them on eBay. I think you are better of buying a 20l drum of methanol for $70 and buying distilled water form the supermarket which is $2 for 2 litres. Works out cheaper than paying for postage of the boost juice
  10. That's sounds good, and it'll be a bit more stealth on the underside of the cooler piping. As long as it doesn't have to go through many turns to get into the plenum I think it should be fine. What boost are you going to get it to start injecting at and come on full flow?
  11. You would be Better served to get a Bosch 040 to replace the stock pump if that's the issue. Stock pumps are all old and tired now... I have the stock s2 injectors and afm if you need to borrow them to diagnose the issue, but I don't want to sell them I agree about the afm sounding like the issue, mine did this when I was getting reversion from the bov. Do you still have the stock bov?
  12. Yeh, the coolingmist kits do have good safety features. When i go wmi I'll be getting Jez to tune it as well, so it'll be good that he knows his way around the cmgs autolearn kit What size nozzle did you get, cm7?
  13. Yeh, I think that's a bit out of proportion, but it'll still be a good result. Get a graph up to compare pre/post wmi when you get it done. Joey is on the standard plenum isn't he? Be interesting to see if the plazmaman effects the result. I've heard a few people say that they go backwards with them, but other claim gains. I didn't think the nismo 555's would flow enough for 300kw+ on e85, must be on the edge!
  14. I'll bet that went well
  15. That should be a nice result with the wmi then, up around 320 or a bit more I would think
  16. What turbo Are you running?
  17. Yeh, its good to know someone that's gone through the process of making everything legal. Long term it's something I would be looking at doing
  18. I'd go the one you were looking at, or the dual nozzle version perhaps It's got good safety features so if something fails, you can set it up to switch off your boost controller and run off gate pressure or switch maps etc Or you could go aquamist hfs3, it looks nice
  19. I think itd be easier to run the gate off the turbine housing if running a stock manifold
  20. Much poke with that size on the rear? Pics?
  21. Also if you are going coolingmist, get it from here http://www.importimageracing.com/shopby/coolingmist.html It's cheaper!
  22. For street use it will be fine, just carry a bottle of distilled water in case of emergency
  23. So without the child restraints it is considerably less. What mods did you get engineered? Turbo, coilovers, wheels, fmic come to mind but was there much else they had to do?
  24. The coolingmist injectors are meant to be some of the better progressive pump speed based injection nozzles from what I have read. I think the aquamist kits have the best injectors though
  25. Read the tyres you have used and how would you rate them thread, plenty of info in there
