  1. Most places I've contacted have said about $60 per corner. With varrstoens and te37 the lower the offset the more concave they will get from memory
  2. Pretty sure stao said that they just didn't have time to do any runs on 98, but he will be doing some later on. I think the reason people are wanting 98 figures is purely because he has always done them on that and now everyone just expects it. Let's face it, we would all run on e85 though if we had the choice...
  3. If you want a good cheap turbo, get a kando or Hypergear. Both have threads in this section with everything you need to know.
  4. Put your stock bov back on and it will most likely fix whatever issue you have with flutter. If its running more than stock boost there will be a boost controller of some description or a new wastegate actuator. Either way it's an easy fix to drop it back to stock.
  5. damn son, you came into that corner about 2x faster than anyone else!!!
  6. Surely there is a few other places around your area that tune pfc's? Jez is a great guy and im sure he could get your car on song no dramas, but 8 hrs one way is ages to drive for a tune.
  7. A second tuners opinion would be a good idea I think, regardless of how nice of a person the original tuner is. Different approach to tuning it might yield better results or might not, but you won't know until you take it elsewhere.
  8. I think vl's etc dose from stock don't they? Most that I have seen do anyway, but they might have been modded to do so...
  9. With any luck a mod might move it for you
  10. It's nice to know what they are capable of on e85 but I'd prefer to see results based on 98.
  11. I'm 80% sure on an r33 gtst the +30 in 9.5" will not clear the brakes on the front because of the flatter spoke profile on the varrstoens compared to rotas. Pretty sure they also hit the upper control arm on full lock on the inside. The 34's have a similar wheel fitment for front and rear as the 33's from memory. So if you want +30 9.5" you'll need to run a small spacer. Better of going the +22 I think.
  12. That sounds like an interesting prospect, anyone know much about that?
  13. If you have access to e85 around you then I would probably be going that route. Some systems run of IDC, maf voltage, boost but I dont think its going to give you any improvement in off boost performance. If you set it up to start injecting at like 5-6psi then you might get a little bit more down low, but your turbo will probably build the boost quick enough to not really notice it too much I dont think.
  14. So you are all sorted for the seat?
  15. Good thing there was no imports seized I think.
  16. In regards to the cost of installing cams, I imagine it won't be cheap. You have to take the timing belt off and you might also want to remove the radiator and a few other belts to make it easier to get to everything. Then you have to take all the cam gears, cam covers etc off to change the cams. Then put it all back together properly using new cam seals/cam cover gaskets and making sure the timing is all right before you start it up again. Definently a few hours labor plus parts.
  17. Adjustable camber arms will pose a problem with getting it rego'd if it isn't already.
  18. hey troy i have my stock r33 s2 drivers seat wrapped up in plastic sitting in my shed that you can use if you need to
  19. When i first opened this thread i thought it was going to be about how low someone had made their car... Disappointment much!!!
  20. Unless your going to up the boost from stock then id worry about other things first personally.
  21. post a photo of your engine bay, so we can see your custom piping. If you are still running the stock crossover piping and its just your intake and hot pipe thats changed, you will just need to get a bung welded onto the intake pipe, a stock bov and a return pipe. I have a stock rb25det bov and a gtr one in the shed, but obviously we need to see your setup so we can give you advice.
  22. When I took my fuel pump out, I just replaced the seal. I tried putting the old one back on but it was a bit annoying and the new fuel pump came with a new seal anyway. If you worried about the wiring falling into the tank dont, It wont fall in. Like was mention above just make sure none of the fuel line clamps or fuel cell cover bolts fall in. Also my advice is to wait untill you have less than 1/4 of a tank of petrol or less!
  23. What ecu are you using? this will help narrow it down a bit. Also, check the ACT section and there is a thread in there about where to get work done on your car.
