  1. There comes a point where you just need to go and see someone about all your ailments, e-diagnosis isnt the best...
  2. nope, just a soft tissue therapist
  3. Sounds like biceps femoris to me. Your common peroneal nerve goes right through that area, its possible for the epineurium of the nerve to adhere to the fascia of the muscle and cause twinging with certain movements. Or it could simply be being compressed by the muscle. get someone to do some neural tension testing on you like straight leg raises whike biasing certain nerves and see what they come up with.
  4. Did they look at your supraspinatus at all? Shoulder abduction is its primary movement (specifically the initial part of the movement) so it would seem more logical that it is the issue...
  5. Is it your lateral hammy (biceps femoris) thats the issue?
  6. Surely there's a chance the soreness is just doms, your lower back has to do some serious stabilisation during squats...
  7. Anyone tried the prosport evo wideband gauage setup? It uses a slightly differnt bosch sensor from memory...
  8. Whats a decent e85 safe oil that has a high zinc content (recommended for FP turbos). Car is purely street driven and id like to only change it every 5k or 6 months
  9. Definitely a solid looking fella!
  10. Broken down into its monosaccharide sub units. So out of fruit you will end up with glucose and fructose. Fructose will be converted to glucose by an enzyme so it can be used for energy production or stored as part of an amylose or amylopectin chain in glycogen molecules. If you dont require anymore glycogen because your stores are full then thats when it will be converted to a triglyceride aka fat.
  11. I dont see how fructose is a more complex chain sugar, considering its a monosaccharide and has the same empirical formula as glucose c6h12o6. Sucrose is table sugar. The only difference between the two is the position of the carbonyl carbon which makes fructose a 5 carbon ring and glucose a 6 carbon ring.Sucrose is a diasaccharide so it has to be broken down into its monosaccharide sub units of glucose and fructose before it can be used for energy production. Glycogen is just amylose and amylopectin which is really just a heap of glucose monomers bonded together via 1-4 and 1-6 bonds.
  12. White evo
  13. Saw rosie today at around 12 near the charnwood fire station.
  14. I thought pain and gain came out ages ago?
  15. I feel your pain. I haven't been able to train properly for well over 6 weeks. Uni exams, then some weird stomach virus for about 2 weeks, then got back into it for a week and now I'm coming down with a cold. Have gone so far backwards it aint funny. Was squatting 140, deadlifting 170 and benching 120 (all 1rm) and now I'd be lucky to get within 20kg of any of those lifts...
  16. I'm the opposite. Getting the weight off the ground is my issue, once I get it moving its usually all good!
  17. I completely forgot about it, but it'd be nice to get it in the city as well!
  18. When are these meant to be widely available?
  19. Do they give a full breakdown of amino acid profile etc as well?
  20. Are you guys getting wpi or wpc tested?
  21. How many free 0-5V inputs do you need on your ecu? The zeitronix Eca kit outputs fuel temp and ethanol % doesn't it?
  22. Have you started doing deads again yet nick?
  23. If you can do 17.5kg weight pull ups, why not go heavier on the earlier sets as well? Or do them all at 17.5kg?
  24. I know that comment isn't directed at me, but I figured I'd post in here anyway. All my lifts have gone backwards recently since I had uni exams and then I have had some weird stomach virus for about 2 weeks. It's amazing how quickly you go backwards when you can't eat properly and lift as you normally would. Only a month ago I managed a 170kg 1rm and first session back into deads the other day and I could only go 125kg x 8 for 4 sets. My 1rm would lucky to be above 150kg now I think. Depressing.jpg
