  1. You could do half that stuff yourself with a bit of help I reckon. Whn I had a 33 my hicas lock kit cost 150$. You shouldn't need a toe eliminator kit, I just had to get a wheel alignment on the rear to remove the toe created by the lockout kit. Have you actually got under the car to have a look at some of the bushes and suspension parts they have said need replacing to see if they are actually rooted?
  2. Nah, I couldn't arrange a time with Matt to go and have a look at it, because of his work, before I went up to Sydney to have a look at a few. Ended up buying one that I had pre inspected before I went up. Now just gotta get it through rego!
  3. chucked the stock struts and exhaust on my new car for rego inspection and discovered that i will probably need to borrow some wheels because the front wheels now sit well outside the guards at stock ride height Anybody help a brother out with stock evo wheels that have some roadworthy tyres?
  4. Anyone got a set of 4 wheels (preferably stock evo 8/9 wheels) with roadworthy tyres that i can borrow for a roadworthy inspection on monday. I just put the stock struts in and because the ride height has increased the front wheels sit well outside the guards now. Im happy to leave my wheels with you for your peace of mind that they will be returned!

  6. I have been wondering what happened to kasko as well, he just up and disappeared... In other news, the 33 is gone and I have purchased a new car! Roadworthy inspection on Monday.

  9. If poo floats that means its less dense than the water it's displacing. Fats/oils float on water so maybe that'd mean there's fat in it or something...
  10. He does have giant quads, but there are plenty of ppl out there who could lift more. Just got to Markos' gym and I'm sure you will see someone squating more... Quads aren't the power producing muscle in sprint cycling though, glute max and hamstrings are heaps more important. Road cycling however uses a lot more quad power.

  13. Poor fella must be devastated, hes lucky he didnt get hurt more from the bar falling on him. He must have some sort of underlying bone issue. Especially when you consider that he lifts 4 times or more a week and should have really good bone density due to the stress of lifting stimulating appositional bone growth an remodeling.

  16. That's solid benching! Got the 117.5kg bench out yesterday an the 2sets of 3x102.5kg after it, so hopefully I can step it up for the 120kg in the last week.
  17. I'm assuming 24.5k will be without the volk rims, just stockies?

  19. doing PPP my deadlift has gone from 147.5kg 1rm to 165kg in 11weeks. Squat has gone from 117.5kg to 135kg and bench 105kg to 115kg (and hopefully higher Next week). In that same time I have still been able to do the exact same weight or more and same volumes on all other exercises I would usually do on the same days. I have only been doing 1rm based training for 1 cycle of PPP because I needed to change up the way I was training to keep making progress, but it works and I like it. I have been lifting for about 18 months and have no desire to compete in powerlifting or body building at this stage, but its much more satisfying to see the numbers going up each week than staying the same. You will see the light soon enough birds, you only have to look at all those videos of the Gus Markos trains to see his methods work...
  20. Why everyone decides to slow down to form one lane ill never know, but Christ its annoying. Helga, I would street fight a person if I didn't get through the lights coz they took off slow or I got cut off. You must be as calm as a Hindu cow behind the wheel...

  22. I love how to the point markos is sometimes! But doing the 1rm stuff doesnt hugely impact the volume work afterwards i found, but it does make it a bit harder. I kept the same weights i did in the higher rep hypertrophy lifting i was doing before, for the assistance work in PPP and i dropped a few reps initially. You make them up and more pretty quickly though as you get a stronger
  23. I reckon you are going to regret going standard bar in the long run once you start lifting a bit heavier. When i bought my home gym setup i was looking to save money etc, but a barbell is something you dont wanna skimp on regardless of if you have to buy new weights for it and stuff...
