Do you have a degree? I have been looking around and apparently the only way to get a working visa for teaching you need to have a degree in anything. Is this true or just what the agencies are saying? Thanks.

Day 1 : 16/1/04 Hello I am not sure where this should go. So I will post it here anyway. The mini arrived today, I am still unsure of what model and make it is hehehe. I will keep on lookin and/or post a pic once I get a digital camera. I have taken off the wheels and put the car on bricks, put paint thinner/remover on the roof of the car, taken out windows and cardboarded up the spots where the windows used to be. Will take off the paint remover once its done its job. Now for the search of what engine/breaks to use. I am going to also have to change the driveline as well as everything else basically. I am thinking of using a H22A1 I think is the model for the engine, but that is apparently extremely heavy so I think I will keep on looking for another engine. edit: Forgot about the interior, I will be removing the seats, putting in bucket seats with racing harness' and attempting to restore the orrgional dash, but putting in a new speedo. Possibly a new steering wheel.

Holy Jebus, thanks heaps for the help. I had better give some more info. Just to clairify. Basically I want to build a car, that can go a decent speed (lets say 150km/h) from scratch, ie. Buy my own engine block and put that all together, stick it in an engine bay of a chasis (i dunno a mini for example) then put on the drive shaft, transmittion, wheels etc. etc. basically make as much car as I can in a few years. I dont know what other info to give.

For my major work I am going to be building a car from scratch or modding up my Corolla (LOL). I am thinking the first option. I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate for how much it will cost, if it can be street legal and any other forms of advice, like what chasis etc. etc. It would be helpful if anyone knew or worked at a garage where I could borrow tools or bring in my car to work on it in there. I need to do it all myself, but I can have someone helping me ie. telling me what to do as I do stuff. Thanks. Oh I figure I should introduce myself, I am currently in Year 11, names Michael. Hahaha it was some internet joke awhile ago. Lost the link for it. Basically it told you that if you add a coffee tin over your muffler tip it would add 10HP. Also if you added two red stripes down the middle of your car, thats a further 10HP. etc. etc.
