The Best Personal Number Plate you have seen?
LOVE2XLR8 replied to Xeaon's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I have the plates "love2xlr8". I had them on my R33 but don't anymore. I should really get the plates "love2crash" after I wrote it off. Anyone who wants them (they are WA plates) make me an offer! -
Cheers for the comments guys. Im going to have a look at an R32 in about an hour. It's an older one 1989, but appears to be in very good condition. One of my mates had a look at is yesterday and reckons it's clean as. 113,000 clicks shouldn't be to bad. I got myself a set of R32 TEIN HE coil overs pretty well priced so at least i've got suspension sorted, to me that's more important than power mods at first. What's a decent turbo back exaust going to cost out of curiosity?

You can probably get a copy from the TV station if you really want to see it.

I'll certainly keep it in mind...sounds really good. I have just had a little setback but hopefully I will be in the market for one soon.

Thanks for your input. I'm looking at spending no more than $18000. Thats my absolute limit cos I lost quite a bit when I wrote mine off.

Hi, my bf is planning to do an RB25DET silvia conversion. I was wondering if anyone here has any information or experience related to this conversion, or can add anything to his list so far that needs to be considered. Cheers - SR20 Auto gearbox crossmember. R33 Engine crossmember with R32 mounts. Plenum will hit bonnet, chop support from under the bonnet or put spacers in. FMIC and custom piping. Aftermarket front and dump pipe. 3" exaust. The sump will need massaging cause it sits just touching the sway bar. Cant use the engine fan, need thermo fans prefably two of them. You can keep the air conditioner. Can use standard hydraulic lines and power steering lines Use r32 radiator Hoses are on the same side as rb25 Aftermarket ecu wolf v4 plus Can get strut bar, but unsure what size will fit under the bonnet and clear the plenum Tail shaft need custom to make it fit R200 mechanical lsd Throttle cable in SR is longer than rb25det, you can cut the SR cable or use the rb25 one

I'm missing my Skyline like crazy and so have decided to bite the bullet and get me another one. Does anyone know of any R33's for sale at a good price? How much do you think I can pick one up for these days? I don't want too many mods, just something neat and in good condition. I have just bought Tein fully adjustable coilovers for it so suspension is no problem. If anyone has any ideas or knows of anything thats out there at the moment please help me out!! Thanks.

Do you understand what a 0.034 readout is? It is the equivalent of less than one standard drink. If you read the text accurately you would be aware that it was clearly set forth in words "note: probation expires on the 27th of Jan." indicating that he had taken the correct precautions to not have more than one drink, according to his knowledge, DPI data management systems and his issued license.. HE IS NO LONGER A PROBATIONARY DRIVER! thus cannot be considered a drink driver! Now IMACUL8 i quote you "Fair enough he's getting in the shit for some things he may or may not have done... but he DID loose his icense on his P's, and after just getting it back he did get done for speeding, and then he did blow a high B A level......" 1. I have clearly stated what he has and hasn't done. 2. 0.034 a high BA reading on an open license? You must be joking. 3. Speeding is something i have not justified as "OK". Don't hang him over something you have no idea as to the circumstances at the time. IMACUL8, please read the text thoroughly and accurately prior to making your comments. Im not asking for sympathy, but your thoughts and advice. The issue here is not drink driving, the topic of the discussion is your thoughts on what i believe is a DPI error. Cheers

Thank you Pva_Glue

The situation is very different. He does not drive as he was only made aware within the last week that DPI have made a serious bureaucratic mistake. If you were told you could resit your exam and had this confirmed by several DPI officers from different branches im sure you would not hesitate. IMMACUL8, your comments were preposterous to the facts. - Thank you very much to the people with the informative and positive responses.
