...and another thing he sad to me, afther i told him that i'm a Tafe student and that i'm allready broke, is that " you should be lucky to have a car, soem students dont even have one....." like whatever.....u made your point DR , but still i dont get it what's that got to do with my situation.....

ok this is my story so far: Monday: My first inspection at Regency. Afther i was waiting for 40min., finnally i was called in. I came with my dad, just for him to see what's the procedure. As i entered my car, my cat converter cover scraped a bit, so i thought "OH no my car is too low" even if i bought LEGAL SPRINGS for Mitsubishi VR4 from brisbane. Any way little fat man was checking, and then we moved my car to be tested for exausth noise(which that day i installed resonator, just to make sure that is quiet, and it was!!!). Any way afther testing it , he told me that everything is good except that my muffler is still for 2 points over 90db. And he told me that i did a good thing about putting resonator, and that i should bring my car just for RECHECKUP of my muffler and that's it. So i was happy, that my car was legal except my exausth. I made booking for today 7/01/2004. Yesterday i went to exausth place and they fitted another resonator, i paid another $80, but it's cool as long i pass. So today i went for 2nd inspection and as it was written only to check my exausth and notthing else coz i passed everything else. As i was entering the same pit my car SCRAPED something same as it screped it on Monday. The inspector (diffrent to one from monday) told me that my car is too low. I sad, but i passed it on Monday, Inspector: well you just got another one. Thet's where i lost it and (dont laugh) sterted to cry coz i didnt know what to do any more. Fat guy was there looking, and then i went to him to ask him how did he passed me on monday and this one didint. I went back and cointinue to cry while they had a chat. Then Inspector dickhead measured my exausth and i passed. He told me " Sorry for any inconvenience, you dont need to pay for your 3rd checkup" So that's my story. Now i will have to put my old springs back and hopefully pass it for the 3rd time. I reckon this if by far most bizzare chase of TSA inspection.....

...ups ...sorry Steve (i'm new u know) any way i passed my regency at once, but my magna flow was still bit loud , even if engine was louder. But by some crazy luck he passed me with little oil leak, hidden Turbo timer(Mallboro cigarette box...) and only one baby capsulescrew point..... lucky me

...i know that one person cant do change, but 100 signatures probably would. There is a lot of clubs in adelaide, i recon that we should all join togeather and protest or something, coz current situation sucks. Also i would band for shops to sell so called illegal parts, then maby something would change afther couple of buisneses go down.... why should queensland or japan be any diffrent to S.A. i think it's time!!!!! but i cant do it myself

o well, i guess it's time to sell our turbos coz this is just redicilous. I love my turbo but beeng targeted as a criminal is too much, and i cant afford it. BTW anyone interested in Apexi BOV fully adjustable, i will sell it coz it's off anyway. Spread arround coz i need money, any reasnoble offer will be considered. PM me for more info

i have my VR4 inspected on monday, so i will post about it. ...we cant win this battle until war doesnt start.... We need to get togeather and blew up whole regency with inspectors in it , including us, then maby futher generations will have ease with moded cars. I know that this sounds stupid, but why are soldiers dying, for fun? no... ...also i will come with my dad, and will see what is all about.... police wrote in my paper that i need to change BOV and put resonator on my exausth, i will do that before i go, and i will act confused and tell them that they need only to check those 2 points, nothing else.... but i know that they will sh^t me. It's all about money... i came to Australia 5 years ago, and now is making me sick with stupides laws in the world. Yes you can afford good car and toys for it but you can use it....that's like haveing $$$$ but not be able to spend it. ........wery behind rest of the world and for australian cars, they are one of the worst in the world, you need to but TOP of the range version to get them with power windows..c mon reality sucks and it wont be considered till somebody gets killed.... sorry but i know that many drivers feel like me...
