  1. Have a look in HPI or Zoom mag, they always got adds.
  2. Agree with the comments on the injectors. If highflowing, make sure that they can get a flow within about 1-2%, with a spray pattern that is equivelent to stock. I would want to see this personally, as I wouldnt trust it otherwise. If you upgrade the injectors, no need to get a Fuel pressure regulator. Some guys on here have driven the RB20with 230rwkw on stock injectors just with fuel pump and fuel pressure reg. That is the way I would go if you are looking for 230 - I have also driven in a car (RB20) with 230 at the wheels with stock injectors, and no probs. 2530 is a good choice, I think a GT28 probably wont be coming on boost till about 4000 rpm. I havent been in a 2l with GT28, this figure is from what others have told me. The hp rating that garret give their turbos is at 1 bar only, so if you wind more boost in, you will get more. This probably explains why horsepower in a box say they get 500hp out of a 400hp turbo.
  3. Joel, the coating place is: Powerkote 13.1042 Grand Junction H.Hill 82651188 the guy's name is Tully, he quoted me approx 260-280 for manifold and dump/front pipe
  4. Clint, sydneykid went into a bit of detail on how to do this on a previous thread (or 2). think he mentioned swapping the R32 pump for a R33 one (as R33 hicas is electric) and removed just about every thing else except for the lines under the plenum as he used them for fuel lines. Perhaps a pm or a search?
  5. Something to think about, if you run two pumps and one goes (eg the intank pump dies) you will run very lean very quickly = engine rebuild time. If you only have one pump, and it dies, car stops = engine is still ok
  6. My car still isnt back on the road - dont want to talk about it:(
  7. and the other side for those interested.
  8. Joel, it is the same flange (T3) as the skyline manifold, attached is a photo of the outlet of one a guy off this forum got from Japan
  9. If only everyone could keep their thread whoring in here - this place would be going off.
  10. Just had another look, perhaps if you got a 2835R with gt28 outlet, you could easily get an adaptor made for the stock manifold, ie GT25 to T3
  11. Here is a copy of the hks spec sheet for their turbos: http://www.hksusa.com/categories/more.asp?id=1092 I noticed that the 2835 has a few different outlets. The pro and pro s have a different outlet to the stock skyline which I think is a GT28 (can anybody confirm this). I have seen a ProS, the outlet is a weird shape, definately not skyline. Got a pic at home, will post it up tonight (if I remeber)
  12. You dont by chance have a direct number? cheers
  13. I am sure you would bounce back:p
  14. Just wondering how much these normally go for?
  15. Sweet, you thinking of doing the wing mirrors too?
  16. With no boost control, and a 3"cat and cat back, my R33 made 7psi up until about 5000rpm, then went to 9 psi, with front dump pipe it definately spooled earlier, but the actual boost increase was very minor, too hard for me to tell acurately on an autometer boost guage. I think it was a bit higher, but cannot say with certainty. Get rid of that stock cat, it will be hurting you. If you have a restriction anywhere on the exhaust side, it will rob you of power.
  17. Dont know anything about EVC III, but here is a link to a pdf manual if that helps? http://www.alltrac.net/manuals/
  18. I know where there are a few lambs, hmmm lambswool door inserts:D
  19. Cheers, shall do:)
  20. would appear you scared MsSkyline away hippy tsktsk
  21. Thats it! group buy to get a cow, and we can sell the rest to make some money back - Timmay is a butcher isnt he:D
  22. That is a pretty open question - there are sooo many different things you can do to an engine when rebuilding it. Probably range from a few hundred dollars to 10s of thousands.
  23. How much is the chip? I would have thought you would be close to that sort of power figure with those mods, 14 psi and stock ecu? Not a big fan of chips. Go the full computer if you can afford it, Autronic are an awesome ecu, but at the end of the day, what is 'best' for you will depend on what your needs/budget is like.
  24. Hey Joel, if you find a place that sells it at a good price, could you let me know? Cheers
  25. I'm getting all the work done through Evan (PSI) cant remember the name of the coating place, sorry, but will find out if you want? the commodore was cheap, and in very good mech condition with heaps of suspension mods, parts are cheap and they are easy to work on, so perfect for the wife to thrash around in. Also I needed a car in emergency, as her previous ride was stolen, and the insurance company refused to pay out because she hadnt been insured for a full year and on pay by month (long story, they will be going to court soon). I would have much preffered a 4 door skyline, any year, but the funds just wouldnt stretch:(
