  1. 235 Gouger st, the big bridgestone store, cant miss it. Just does tyres and suspension work as far as I know.
  2. Sounds like a fun outing, perhaps those bees thought they had found the worlds biggest sunflower and went for a feed!!! poor bees.... sorry, I'm in a silly mood at the mo.
  3. Hoetrain, it allows for 0.75deg + or - adjust on back (or you can use 2 kits for +/-1.5deg) - part number KCA347, on the front it allows 0.6deg +/- part number KCA348 You can look up the details at www.whiteline.com.au Pic of KCA348:
  4. I have found that electrical contact cleaner can be wanting, especially if whatever you are cleaning is really dirty. It is not uncommon for people in the trade to use other than electrical contact cleaner - I have a good friend who does work in the trade, and he uses all sorts of things - including brake cleaner for components that have come in to contact with oil/grease. He also uses erasors for cleaning electrical plugs, as he recons these work best of all. I am not the only person that uses brake cleaner for AFMs, and I would challenge you to find anybody who has ever damaged their AFM by using it. I am not saying that brake cleaner is your only option, just that it is a viable option that provides good results very quickly and easily - which is the point of the forum. Also I am not saying that electrical contact cleaner is no good, just that there are other options as well - and to each their own. As for common sense - well I strongly believe that there is no such thing...lol
  5. do you have any photos of the manifold? Will it fit an RB25 head, also what turbo mount does it have? Cheers Steve EDIT: oops, didnt read your original post too well, e-mail sent
  6. The bits that go from the plenum and bolt to the head, and have the injectors attached to em. If you know what I mean
  7. Yep, owe you guys one there. I'll definately be back to him for tyre now!!!! (even before hearing about the beers)
  8. Hmmm, dont think I have ever seen any AFM cleaner?????
  9. Brendanf, thats a nice looking plenum. Do you know if they are using the stock runners? Also do you know if the runners are continued inside the plenum or just butt up against the base and inside is a big void? Sorry lots of quesions, but I am intested to know what different shops provide. Cheers Steve EDIT: did they give you any, or have any flow figures?
  10. I used brake cleaner - worked a treat no residue, just quick spray and all the oil/grease etc just disappeared like magic. I have since included this in regular servicing, used it to clean my AAC vavle and have only had good results.
  11. hehehehe, note to self, dont eat while reading SAU forum. I now have bits of spagetti on my monitor...
  12. I have a new front and rear camber kits for an R33 GTST. These were purchased, but not required after wheel alignment, as my adjustment was only 1/4 degree from optimum. SOLD Steve
  13. Dude, this is the performance forum, perhaps you would have more luck posting on the NSW forum or WTB section
  14. So will I take it that you are not interested in the offer for your rear brace????
  15. Hey Clint, couldnt hurt at $35 - if they have to adjust it. if not, well they didnt charge me the first time 'cos they didnt change anything.
  16. And perhaps poping the cover and checking for a Mines sticker?
  17. R33-JET I believe the rule of thumb is one heat range cooler for every 100-150 additional hp. I also use BCPR6ES gapped at 0.8mm, and have just over 200rwkw. If you are running alot more hp (which wouldn't surprise me with 1.4 bar) perhaps go BCPR7ES Steve
  18. Went and saw Laurie down at Bridgestone in the city. First time in, got the car put up and was told it didnt need a wheel alignment, but they didnt have time to check the rest of the suspension - NO CHARGE In for the rest of the suspension checked (ride hight, fine tune camber, etc), well at first things were a bit slow, Laurie was busy on the phone. Then, when the car goes on the hoist, out comes the pizza 'here you go mate, fill your boots or it just goes in the bin', then comes out the coke, same thing. Fine adjustment of alignment, check ride height, reset rear sway bar, and we went for a drive - I though the problem was in the rear - Laurie disagreed, 'you need to tighten up the front sway bar'. Back on the hoist, adjust front sway bar (involved a bit of work). Off hoist then I took the car for a drive - and now she handles 100 times better - its bloody awesome! I whip out the wallet - Laurie charges me just $35 for a wheel alignment - THE MAN IS AWESOME Just had to put in a good word, this is the best bloody service I have ever had of anybody - and I'm not young! MUST also say a big thanks to Clint32 for hooking me up with some really cheap whiteline gear, what a top aussie bloke Sorry if you guys think I have been wasting your time by posting this, but I just had to let as many people know, whoever is after suspension tuning - speak to Laurie! PS Friday arvo is the time to go if you want the pizza:D
  19. Cheers
  20. Thanks GTR King, shall do some investigating. The e-mail to hillsmotorsport, got rejected anyways.....
  21. hehehehhe... 9/10 13 second drivers with 12 second cars would disagree though
  22. Yes, I would be interested in hearing - must be a pretty quick STI, or some one just plain #$cked up.??????
  23. Pawley, yeah, thought it might be better than buying some second hand and not being 100% sure - if I cant find decent facts, I will probably just buy new ones, bosch sell top feeds for about $95 new I think. Thanks Brandanf, I sent them an e-mail anyways, if worse comes to worse, I might just send them over there to get done. Cheers Steve
  24. Hi, anybody out there know if injector high flowing is available in Adeliade, and an idea of cost would be good too, esp when comparing to new/second hand upgraded injectors. Also anybody got any comments on whether this is safe to do. I have heard about problems in the past with getting decent spray patterns, but there still appears to be a bit of it being done, and by reputable tuning shops over east such as Croydons. Thanks Steve
