  1. Thanks heaps Conrad Steve
  2. Slayer, Where did you get the rims???? Any more around, I am in the same boat that you were - looking for the elusive nine inch rim. Any ideas would be mutch appreciated. Cheers Steve
  3. Don't know about the box fluid, but HICAS, check this site out: http://www.overflow.250x.com/diagnostics.htm it appears that 21 is speed sensor not present??? Perhaps something is loose?
  4. Dude, skylines are an awesome ride, reliable comfortable and good performance. Fuel economy isn't too bad, I get about 10l/100km. Just an idea, why import another when you can get one over here? Just have a look at the for sale section. There are some nice cars in there, modded and not so modded, but the big thing is that you can get them fully checked out by a mechanic, take them for a test drive and maybe even barter on the price a little.....why take the risk on an unseen import if you are after a basic skyline???
  5. Any decent fibreglass retail outlet should be able to help, have you tried the yellow pages?
  6. Had the same prob with mine, one of the plugs at the back of the aircon control had come loose. Just plugged it back on. Hope this helps
  7. Suppose it may be a compromise, reduced turbo backpressure and less lag v's backfire.... I dunno, but wouldn't mind knowing for sure. love your action with the aftermarket bov = sell me the car cheaper, nice work
  8. I got a turbosmart type II fitted at C-Red, cost 300 for the BOV and 50 for the adapter, Roy down there put it on and plumbed it at no charge. What I found really interesting is that the factory valve had a mitsubishi symbol on it????? Anyways, the new vavle seems to reduce lag on gear changes, but also it's adjustable (Roy also did this when he fitted it), and the backfiring isn't too bad at all. I would definately recommend one. Steve
