  1. Also, West State Tyres sell them, and guarantee they are 100% legal, so if the cops say anything, ask how places can sell them as legal if they are not
  2. topaz, welshpool, as in the liscencing centre. I got pulled over with them fitted, traffic cops, checked them out but didnt say a word.
  3. randominsantity, they are legal according to welshpool, as long as they are not the slip on type. Topaz, check to make sure your rims allow for wheels studs to come through, ie they are compatible with spacers, or you will have to attack the wheels studs with an angle grinder.
  4. memorise the challenges! bloody hell, I still cant memorise them just watch the others on the day and hope for the best when its my turn worth giving a bash if you havent had a go before.
  5. There are still spots left for this, guys, if you want to get your car on a track, this is a great opportunity, dont miss it.
  6. Cheers, next time you better be out there
  7. kei office specialise in drift sus (Keichi Tsuchiya aka drift king). Excellent coilovers, hard spring rates. The adjustment is as you thought, with a small screwdriver, they use a KYB insert that has 4 levels of dampening. Adjust too soft, they get bouncy, adjust too hard, and the wheels may loose contact patch. For the street, I suggest you run a 3 in the front, and 2 rear. If you find you are understeering, try backing off the dampening, oversteering (and you dont want to) back off the dampening rear. Somewhere to start anyways.
  8. Spots left in the drift comp and practice day - see first post
  9. To all those that think they are not good enough - JUST DO IT At least you will get some track time, as there is a practice night on 16th, for only $40!!!! then the comp itself, practice, qualifying, then finals (ir you make it that far). I CANNOT drift for sh1t, and guarantee I will be the worst out there - but I am giving it a go cos its the only way to get on the track, have a play and learn. In the east, they get HEAPS of guys who wouldnt have a clue entering the comps, its great because: 1/ you will learn heaps from the practice 2/ you get track time 3/ IT SUPPORTS THE SPORT without the support, drift will never take off over here. JUST DO IT
  10. Rezz, you are in for the shock of your live when you see the prices of a half decent import over here

    Tyres

I think Tyrepower are the distributors for Toyo, perhaps try Canning Vale (just off Bannister Rd) the guy that owns the shop there used to be the WA manager for Toyo, and loves the T1R (admittedly they seem to be a great tyre, the T1S certainly was pretty good)

    Drift Wa

Hi Masahiro, Yep, that is the one, but as you say its sorted. Would definately like to see some stickers, perhaps we need to get them up and running before the club name / artwork gets copyrighted? do you know of any places that manufacture custom stickers? any ideas for artwork yet? Please post any ideas up cheers Steve

Stickers! now you're talking, my suggestion someting like this: http://www.teamloveofdrift.com/ hehe, it would be nice to have a sticker of a dedicated WA Drift club, I am sure they would be a good seller - sell em at the drift comp at wanners too Hell, you could put me down for five

Nice work, so is there a dedicated WA Drift Club being started? I would definately be in that. Guys, lets all join the forum to show suport for this, the more members join the forum, the more likely drift will actually make it in this state, even if you dont want to get sideways, all support is good support Thanks to all that are getting this up and running.
  16. I think its over 3L, the sr20 box takes around 2.5L
  17. As above, if you are NOR, go to see hyperdrive, many happy customers.
  18. are you sor or nor?
  19. Problem solved! HypeR33 sell your brides to thrtytwo and buy some nice new eastbears
  20. this is getting crazy, now we encourage people to dob eachother in - fark, I am trying to teach my kids that dobbing is bad.... shame they dont spend more time trying to build communtiy values instead of teaching us to dob on each other. Narorw minded no life MoFos - how do you spell fascism?
  21. the average price around town is between $130 and $160, so you did well anyways.
  22. They would be worth recovering IMHO, then they would be like new Cheaper than paying $1200 - 1400 new each.
  23. Sorry JB, I believe the material is almost impossible to get hold of, I have only ever seen it sold to suit door trims and glove boxes, never large enough peices to do seats. Even the side/back material is not sold sepeartely AFAIK. And I dont know of any places to get retrims done in perth sorry, but I am sure there are others on here that will.
  24. You can buy decent brix second hand for $800 each or less. Have seen them for as little as $300 if they badly need a retrim. Rails from around $150 each. Look around, you may even get luck if you find some in a wrecking yard and they dont know what they are worth (mate picked one up for 4250 with rail in perfect condition - no they dont have any more ) Another option, C-Red are selling some very sexy looking East Bear seats brand new at good prices http://www.silviawa.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=14408
  25. also forgot to add, the phone number is 9451 1334
