  4. yeah i know, but the more i looked into those turbos the better they started to sound, and the JPP R33 is pushing 439HP with good response and torque out of the same turbo with less mods than my car! not to mention these turbos are around $1,000 cheaper than a genuine garrett option. there is also a few people on here running the same turbo for over a year now with regular punishment, dave from jpp also has one on his 180sx drift car for over 12 months now still running 19psi fine which made me realise they must be a pretty well built, good quality turbo. at the end of the day, anything is better than my current T04E turbo but this turbo sounds like the best value for money option.
  5. so i am basically finished deciding on the turbo i am going with, had a chat to dave at JPP the other day and he is running the same turbo on his 2 pushing out mean power with less mods than mine!! cant go past this for value and proven quality. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbocharger-Mitsubishi-Kinugawa-T67-25G-T3-10-cm-/270897143228?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f12ba5dbc#ht_2548wt_1292
  6. So i took the skyline to Queensland tint Company today for them to work their magic on all my glass, the 33 is now rockin 18% tint on fronts and 5% rears! did a great job at a great price. here are some pics, also raised the front a bit due to the fronts scrubbing hardcore on the arch.
  7. hey mate, no worries its called a single din box or something like that, autobarn and supercheap sell them for around $20!
  8. just a bit of an update landscribble - i got the cluster out and removed the HICAS bulb, at first i thought the air bag bulb was the one with two wires running into it, but the bulb is next to the one with the two wires going into it, so i just pulled it out and all done. my beautiful girlfriend got me a MOMO deep dish steering wheel for christmas and mum got me some new sony explode speakers for the fronts as they were standard still. all installed and looking pimp. also took a quick snap as i got out of the car - ^^^^ as you can tell i wound down the front a little bit more, this week i am ordering a HID kit, rear strut brace and front wheel spacers 25mm.
  9. that manifold looks pretty good, just make sure the flange is dead flat otherwise you will be blowing gaskets like no tomorrow, and go for a genuine nissan gasket too, i made the mistake of putting a cheaper one on and it was just more work in the long run, $120 for a brand new gasket from nissan
  10. i hope your mums garage is pimpin with tools.
  11. shit yeah + 22 hands down, get some nice fitment going on!! will make the car look insane!
  12. better pic, so much nicer to drive compared to the standard steering wheel, now i just have to remove the air bag bulb so the light goes off.
  13. received and installed the boss kit and put my mates genuine momo steering wheel on until i get my one, which is option 1 by the way dont like the chrome centre on option 2. also received bosch 044 so surge tank will be going in soon!
  14. well that sucks because i prefer option 1!! haha
  15. option one option two
  16. hahaha sorry thats the only pic i could be bothered getting, i just ordered the boss kit atm, still picking a steering wheel, in about 5 mins ill post up a pic of my options. let me know what one you think is better, im thinking genuine cough momo black suede with red stitching
  17. Quick update! not all that much has been happening to the car in the last few weeks, found a huge boost leak thanks to a split rubber joiner. I finished of fabricating a surge tank from 316 stainless steel with 3/8 fittings, bosch 044 fuel pump is on the way. also have ordered a deep dish steering wheel and boss kit along with a dildo shifter! here are some pics to keep you going! Surge tank (still needs to be polished up a bit more) boss kit and steering wheel quick pic
  18. looks pretty cool so far man, very rare too!! if i were you i would stay away from royal purple, it is overpriced junk imo. nulon fully synthetic is a proven performer especially in turbod cars
  19. hey mate, have u got the new oil pump in? solve the issues of noisy lifters? also how did the alloy rad go on the track?
  20. The wing looks the goods mate! glad you like......but in saying that...your car looks effing hot with no wing on it!
  21. hey jeremey, thats some pretty sweet power from a near standard motor and standard injectors congrats. my bov was leaking at higher boost too and that was an aftermarket one, so i just took the bov off and welded the hole shut on the intake pipe, do this if you love dose there are rumours that running no bov is bad for your turbo etc....however me and all my mates dont run bovs, we run high boost and drive the cars pretty hard and none of the turbos have ever failed....
  22. thats a pretty big difference, hopefully it performs well on the track in handling temperatures. do you think the clutch fan and shroud could fit in with that size radiator?
  23. so i got bored the other day and decided to put my fab skills to work, got sick of hearing my #1 muffler hit on every speed bump because it was hanging too low. so out with the old and in with the new...small piece of 3" s/s tube made a bit shorter to pull the exhaust up a bit higher for more ground clearence.
  24. awesome thanks for the link to the radiator, how have you found the cooling since you have installed it? staying alot cooler during drifting or hard stints?
  25. hey mate, awesome build thread, love the pics and videos!! keep up the good work. also are you able to post a link to the ebay person who you bought the radiator through?
