^This. Any decent digicam will work.. I picked up one for $250 from Harvey Norman and bought a $30 eBay mount and its good enough for me... Decent pic quality and audio far ahead of Go-Pro..

I've had 2, mum 1, mum's ex 2, dad 1. All been awesome and reliable with reg servicing. Also helps when your mechanic knows these cars better than anyone else...
