  1. It's been like that since I bought the car, I've changed the idle and stuff now and its still the same.
  2. Umm well I guess you could call it a brick, the Mrs was holding the pedal all the way down haha lol.
  3. At home pressure test meaning, where the AFM sits, I removed the AFM made up a pipe that fits in there with a air valve, got my air compressor and filled it up to around 15psi and it held the air in not leaking anywhere.

  5. I did a at home pressure test and there wasn't any leaks, it's completely stock too, another thing also is that on the stock gauge it only has up to -15 if you convert the units, I'm stumbled with this one.
  6. Hey guys, instead of me opening up a new thread, what should a standard R34 GTT be sitting at idle? mines at -10 - -11? is that normal or is there something wrong here, thanks.
  7. Hey man I was in the same boat, replaced coil packs and all, ended up only being the Traction Control Motor that bolts up on the cross over pipe with 6-8 bolts that I can remember off, $800 later ended up only being a $40 second hand part fix lol.
  8. Well I just ordered a EURO 4 Compliant cat, yeah it's still the 20year old rubbish on there, can I ask what do you're boost gauges sit at on idle? mines at 10hg? is that wrong? please let me know asap, thanks.

Well today was my 6th attempt and still no good, this time the THC was 0.39 Nox was 1.19 and CO was 2.5, there was a silvery/green r34 infront of mine and he passed on his 4th go, my dad took the car today as I couldn't make it, and he didn't get me his number, if anyone knows him or if you're reading this could you please please please inbox me asap, my rego is getting cancelled on Friday ffs, I'm so sick of this, its been 8 weeks now, this time I put in a mixture of vortex 98 and E85 making it E30 and still nothing, the testing guy apparently told my old man "this cars being used as a racing car or something?" wtf was that meant to mean, thanks.

  14. Can I ask a silly question, which way turning the CAS retards and advances, is clockwise retard and anticlockwise advance or the otherway around, thanks.

  16. Will it help if I put my silencer piece in my exhaust as the outlet will be smaller hence restricting flow.

  19. Also should I ground the actual solenoid eg. connect a wire from the ground to the solenoid body or is just the 2 pins ok.

  21. NOX level too high again, this time it was 1.30 max it's allowed is .63, from everywhere I've read is high combustion temperature/car running too lean. So tomorrow I'm gonna make a pipe to sit where the air flow meter sits and pump it up with 20psi of air and check for a air leak, thats all I can really think of it being, and also check my fuel pressure incase my fuel pump is pooping itself causing it to lean out, and far out with Australian restrictions lol, I wish I was in America right now because CRC has a product called G2P (Guaranteed to pass) that you put in you're fuel and somehow it just kills all of the levels for a emissions test lol. As far as the THX and Co2 is concerned its way below the allowable limit, THX is .20 and CO2 is 0.02 this time, gotta wait till next Wednesday again ffs.

Hey man thanks for the quick reply, yeah I apply a positive to 1 pin and 1 negative off my booster pack onto the pins and nothing happens and I can't feel it doing anything, or do I have to do it with the car power so that I can put a earth instead of negative if that makes any difference? thanks.

Hey guys, Well it looks like my aac valve isn't working correctly or God knows what it is, I apply 12v to the solenoid and nothing changes, I also have a spare solenoid here and when I apply 12v to it nothing happens??? is it meant to move in and out or something? please let me know asap, thanks.

Hmmm another thread hijack haha lol, well quick update, going in again on Wednesday, got all the fuel out, ran some fuel with injector cleaner just to clean things up a little, tomorrow hopefully going to drop in a set of new spark plugs BCPR7ES-11, new fuel filter and a quick Liqui Moly De-Carb, a fresh tank of BP 98 and see how that goes, hopefully with the fresh fuel with no additives and a colder plug the NOX should lower and pass, will let use know how I go, thanks.
