  1. Would anyone be able to help me out with a part number for a Idle Adjusting Screw that is in the AAC valve for a R34 GTT, thanks.
  2. Where can I get a new AAC valve screw for my R34 GTT, my plastic one has perished from heat and has just completely stripped, does anyone have a part number if I have to get it from Nissan, thanks.
  3. What condition is the steering wheel in? is it a series 2 type (2 tone), if so how much without the Airbag, thanks.

  5. Hey guys, quick update and a new problem. For the smoke problem, it looks like it's solved, did a oil flush and changed the oil and it seems to have stopped now, probably had a sticky ring due to gunk/carbon build up? New problem: Car wont idle properly and it seems as though the AAC valve isn't working. Looked up the forum and cleaned and tried to set the idle with the AAC valve and even played with the throttle stop and still it constantly changes its idle and when I turn it on when cold the revs don't go up as they used to to let it warm up, when I turn the A/C on same thing etc, when I disconnect the 2 pin harness from the AAC solenoid nothing changes so my guess is that the AAC Solenoid is stuffed? can someone confirm this for me, also when I adjust the idle from the power FC hand controller nothing happens, how does the ecu adjust the idle is it through the AAC solenoid or something else, if it's the AAC solenoid wheres the best place I can get one from or does someone have one for sale, thanks.

  9. Well I've put the Penrite Racing 10 10w-40, I'm impressed, engine is as smooth if not smoother than the Royal Purple, oil pressure is better than with the Royal Purple, overall so far with a short drive I'm happy :-D.
  10. That's the patience part haha, and I gotta get up at 4 and drive to work so I wouldn't really be bothered doing that at 4am, surely something would go wrong lol.

  12. I hate this process haha lol, so boring waiting for all the oil to drain out lol, would it hurt to put some compressed air through the oil cap to push the oil down a little.
  13. Look to be honest Royal Purple is the best oil I have ever used so far, it craps over Motul IMO, engine ran so much smoother, quieter. Only reason why I am changing is due to the price, it was ok before the price hike at $90 a bottle, then it went up to $110 and now almost $130 and for something that you're just gonna dump every 5000kms average 6 months its a waste.

I never said anything bad about NGK it's the only brand I'd use to be honest, just saying that iridiums aren't what they all claim them to be, I'm yet to see a set that actually last their 100000 kms as they all state. Anyways back on topic before the admins kick my bum, I'm gonna try the Penrite Racing 10 and I will post how I go with it and what I think about it compared to Royal Purple, thanks.
  15. As I mentioned before I can't really find much through search for some odd reason, iridium aren't really suited for boosted cars as their tips are thin for one and also at high heat they tend glow and that's what makes them shit themselves and also pre ignite.

Hey man thanks for confirming that, I was leaning towards those plugs plus I'll be replacing them every 5000 kms better than the iridium crap I'm using atm and still having to change them every 10000 kms at $160 for the set, I was just unsure of the gapping, I have yellow jacket coil packs, thanks.
  18. I genuinely am sorry but could someone please guide me to a link regarding spark plugs? I can't really seem to find anything new its all from 2006-2008 and many differences and I don't want to turn this thread into a spark plug thread aswell, thanks.
  19. Also what oil filter are use using, I normally use a Genuine Nissan oil filter, is it worth the price or is a Ryco just as good? thanks.

  22. Yeah man had a aftermarket oil pressure guage to check aswell and after a nice run oil pressure sits at 150-200 kpa or 20-30psi.

No track anytime soon, but she does get quite a few "spirited runs", I thought Penrite was the way to go but just read some more and am completely confused, alot of negative for Penrite in this thread, I have been using Royal Purple 10-40, although oil pressure doesn't hold up with it, always pretty low after a nice run, also with their price hike on their oils I ain't paying $120 for a bottle of oil that I just dump every 5000kms, I'm leaning towards Nulon at the moment.
  24. Confused if I should go with Penrite Racing 10 10-40w or Penrite Racing 15 15-50w, Car has 81000kms on the clock with just the first stage mods, intake, front mount, exhaust, 12psi, power fc 211rwkw, thanks.
