  1. Shouldn't it still start but run rough as shit? and there was no bang, isn't there usually a awesome bang when the intercooler pipe blows? although I will check that tomorrow, thanks.
  2. Hey guys I'm looking for any help/suggestions as my car broke down tonight. Ok please don't grill me now but I stupidly installed a Bee-R in my r34 GTT today, and its got a power fc. I launched at the lowest settings 2500rpm and gain was 3, nothing detonated no bad sounds no back fire pretty much like a standard rev limiter. I dropped the clutch and the car just stalled and won't turn back on now. It reeks of fuel so I'm getting fuel and I can hear the fuel pump run. The car still turns over the same not any looser asif its lost compression, everything still seems fine. According to the power fc my crank angle sensor is ok, and the timing is at around 7 degrees when turning over and at 175 rpm. It kind of wants to turn on but just hasn't got enough in it. Although now somewhere near the tcs motor its got a whining sound, I thought maybe the butterfly got stuck closed checked that and its fine. I connected my standard ecu and it still won't turn on but the whining sound disappears but when I reconnect the power fc the whining noise comes back. I haven't been able to check for spark as it's dark now and the lighting in my garage shat itself as well a few days ago What could it possibly be and what can I look out for. the trippiest thing is that nothing detonated, checked my power fc and my knock was maximum 4. I'm really stuck and need to get the car back on the road as its my daily and need it for work. Any help is greatly appreciated, ohh and I threw the Bee-R out already , thanks.
  3. Hey guys sorry for bringing up an old topic but rather than opening a new one I thought I'd just ask here, when you connect the bee-r to the loom, do you cut the wires off the loom so that they do not go to the computer or just splice them in, thanks for any help in advance, thanks.
  4. Would this fit a r34 GTT, thanks.
  5. Hey guys sorry to ask as it may have been covered but I couldnt find it I might have skipped it, but I have a r34 gtt 2000 model with 70000kms on the clock now, I've been wanting to change the gearbox and diff oil since I imported it but never got any time to search around and see whats recommended and to get around to doing it. Now recently the gearbox has started to get a little noisy when driving, selects fine though, although 2nd is abit of a pain when cold, what would you recommend as the best oil to put in it? As for the diff, I'm not 100% sure but they are an LSD item correct? well a few times when I punch it kind of pulls a 1 legger, whats the best oil to put into the diff? The car is a daily, gets driven like its stolen a quite bit and an occasional track day. Ohh and if it's not too much of a hassle the amounts of fluid and a good place to buy it from in Sydney. [EDIT] I'm not sure if it matters but it has a short throw shifter installed and has around 250rwkw. Thank you for any help in advance, thanks.

  20. Hey mate I made mine out of alloy sheet, I went abit overboard and used 3mm but its light anyways, heres a few pics of the one I made for my r34 gtt and also I will post a pic of 1 I made for my mates r33, btw I have a front mount and I used one of the spare holes from the old intercooler and put a 3 inch pipe through straight to the filter down to the front bar so that it feeds it the cold air better, thanks. My R34GTT Airbox. Mates R33.
  21. Hey guys abit of an update just incase someone else is having the same problem as me, I sorted it out thanks to Elite Racing, I got the TCS motor finally after looking for it for so long and my problem was fixed, my TCS motor was still making the noise as he described but wasnt loud, you could barely hear it, so I bit the bullet and got another one, when I pulled it apart the old one still spun and all but still wasnt working, must have lost its power and wasnt quick enough or something like that, but just a quick heads up if your having the same problem try the TCS motor, a big thanks to Elite Racing as I was trying to fix this problem since I bought the car almost a year ago, thanks.
  22. I've got nothing to do with it but a post below yours is selling one. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/398889-r34-25gt-stock-rims-and-25-gt-stock-exhaust/
  23. Arhggg I got the wrong one again I tried to memorize it sorry to bother you, I'm at the car right now it's er34-040995 if you could please run that one I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.
  24. I don't know where I pulled that chassis number from but can I please get my vin number fasted, its er34-090994, thanks.
  25. But see again its not all about more power, having denser air would also result in less pinging which means its healthier for the engine, Ive noticed my car used to get abit of knock in 2nd gear with just the pod, once I made a enclosure and got a pipe from the bumper to the box theres not as much noticable ping.
