Spotted the black r34 next to mine at Rockdale plaza, has a ouchie boo boo on the passenger door that I couldn't look at. -
What oil filter are you guys using? Would the ryco be any good? I've been using the genuine Nissan one but can't be arsed always dealing with duds just to get a oil filter.

Kind of what I was thinking, although with the tune it's gone through 2 winters already with no problem, although cant remember if it was this cold before lol (goldfish memory).

Nah not a vented bonnet, wish I did, I still have the 50kg standard bonnet lol. Nah I didn't say it was a rev limiter, just trying to describe what the car acts like when the engine does flash, like a little similar when you hit the rev limiter for a second kind of thing.

My knock levels never go past 20, engine light turns on at 60 for knock.

Ahh k so put it in the sensors mode correct? And watch for one of the little circles to either come on or off yeah? It's not the light that bothers me I just don't want to blow anything - don't have the time or money for that atm. It just trips me out as to why it mainly happens when it's raining and why all of a sudden if you get where I'm coming from, and also that little jurk that I get when the engine light does flash and what causes that? I'm thinking maybe as a safety precaution it's like a Rev limiter.

Yeah true, what trips me out though is that the car has been tuned like this for the past 2 years and now all of a sudden this is happening, I've tried 2 different AFM and 2 different o2 sensors just incase and same thing is happening, running the same boost and all, well I'm sooning aiming for my stage 2 upgrade, hopefully get near 300rwkw just stuck on which turbo to get, and which injectors, are the r34 injectors side feed or top feed? thanks.

Hey guys well it started again arhhh. Weird although I have noticed that it mainly does it in the rain??? At about 4000 rpm mainly in 2nd engine light flashes car feels like it just turned off and back on then I back off. I once thought fark it lets see what happens and it hesitates for a few milliseconds then goes fine, I'll attach a photo of my peak hold off my power FC if that helps at all. I'm thinking either clogged injectors or is my fuel pump getting weak? if you think it's the fuel pump how can I test that? Thanks for any help in advance.

Sorry not being a farktard but that's what I mentioned in my post I know that it's either the master or the slave but don't know which one it is that's busted, is there a way of finding out which one is rooted other than replacing them, normally I've experienced is that if it's the master that it would leak fluid behind the firewall into the cabin but I haven't lost a speck of oil.

Hey guys recently the clutch in my R34 GTT has started to play games with me. I have Exedy Cushion Button with Exedy lightweight flywheel installed about 1000kms ago and for the past couple of weeks my clutch won't disengage fully. Sometimes I can't get it into gear and I have to pump the clutch a couple times and sometimes if I'm holding the clutch in and it's in gear the clutch engages on it's own asif I have let go of the clutch (scared the fark out of me a couple times while reverse parking). I have changed the clutch fluid and re-bled the system, was better for a couple of days and it's playing up again. There are no leaks anywhere, I'm stumped as to if it's the master or the slave cylinder or could it be something else? If it is the slave cylinder is it worth getting the Nismo version with a bigger bore. Thanks for any help in advance.
