94 R33 Gts25t M Spec For Sale
nikr33 replied to nikr33's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
bump!! The car now has brand new rear tyres and is reduced to $12500. I will accept any reasonable offer, as I really need to sell it now, my wedding is getting closer! Cheers, Nick -
Make:R33 Model:GTS25T Milage:142000 Transmission:Manual Colour:Burgandy Location:Geelong Complied?Y RWC supplied?Yes Currently registered?Registered until November 2008 Price:13,000 ono Contact: email me at [email protected] Comments / Modifications: I am selling the car because I am getting married and need the cash for the wedding. The car has been serviced every 5000km, full receipts available. The interior is immaculate and includes genuine Nissan Skyline floor mats. Body is dead straight but needs to be resprayed on the bonnet and roof due to the car being kept outside and the paint fading. The car is unmodified apart from cat back exhaust, alarm, white rims and and stereo. Would be an ideal car for someone who wants to give their car a custom paint job, as apart from the paint on bonnet and roof, the car is excellent. Brand new heavy duty clutch just installed. Hey all, just thought I would update you on how things panned out........................ after a long while, her Mum backed off and has been nice to her, I still am not allowed in the house! My girlfriend has got a job down here, and is moving down next weekend, so it all turned out ok!

Mate, don't go for the Firenza's. They told me they were great when I got new 18" and I paid extra for them but they were a death trap. Good in the dry, but as soon as it got wet they would spin everywhere, especially say doing a U turn from the lights. Whenever you put a bit of lock on, no matter how slow you were going, and I mean literally crawling around a corner from the lights they would spin and slide. The car was basically undriveable in the wet while accelerating, and on cornering it felt like the tyres were really squirmy on the rims. The car is only 160rwkw too. I just put a pair of Pirelli Dragons on my 17" rims on the front and they are great, cost me $265 each. I run Toyo T1-S on the back and they are easily the best tyres I have ever driven on, wet or dry. Grip is unreal! I got them a few years ago though and they cost me $350 a corner, but I think the T1-Rs which replaced them are cheaper now? Cheers, Nick

I totally agree with you on that one........ But from what I have been told, her Mum wants to have nothing to do with me and won't talk to me Honestly, you haven't met this woman, she can't be reasoned with, even if she is totally wrong. To her, the only option is her option, nobody elses thoughts count.

Very good advice Kaz, Im trying to be as supportive as I can, but its hard when my girlfriend doesn't tell me everything that is going on up there, so I don't know what to say at times, other than that I'm here for her whenever she needs me. You're right though, her Mum is digging her own grave and what she doesn't realise is that the more she carries on like this, the slimmer the chance that I would ever move up there. Cause if I moved up there Im sure everything would be sweet for a while, until there was something else she wanted or wasn't happy with, then she would start the whole caper all over again....no way, I'm not that stupid!!

Sounds like a plan!! Anyone know a good butcher with a few free offcuts? She's 100% aussie

Shes 22, I'm 24 It's not like im some dodgy bloke her Mum's trying to protect her from either. I'm an accountant with my own business, not a dole bludging bum!

Hi guys, Long time since I have posted here....but anyways....... I need advice on what to do about an evil mother in law (girlfriends Mum) Long distance serious relationship with me here and her in QLD, she is considering moving down here but her mother is kicking up a huge stink and being totally unreasonable. Here is just some of the tactics she is using..... Saying stuff like 'he doesn't love you, if he did, he would move here for you' He's only going to break up with you anyway.... Not talking to my G/F or being very cold to her..... Saying that it is like she will be dead to the family and how can she betray her family like this. Saying that if she moves here, and we get married she won't attend the wedding (which to a chick is a huge thing) Its got to the stage where my girlfriend won't let me visit her up there, she always comes here because she is scared of her mother and what might happen if I go there. Her Mum doesn't even have a licence or work and relies on her kids to drive her around and pay the rent / food etc. THe thing is that she is nice as pie until something doesn't go her way, then shes using guilt trips, blackmail etc, and basically disowning her own daughter for doing nothing other than following her heart. I love my girlfriend heaps, but I don't know how much more of this crap I can take, and the whole time I am here and she is there, her Mum is in her ear trying to break us up cause shes a selfish jealous bitch!! The sad thing is that my girlfriend can see what her Mum is trying to do but still has alleigance to her just because its her Mum. She actually wants to move here but is having to put up with sooo much rubbish thats its nearly tearing us apart. I know this is nothing about cars, but I drive a line, so please help a bro out! PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I GO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I think I was in Taylors Lakes on Saturday about 11AM going to my grandparents place! Pretty strange coincidence seeing I am usually in Geelong!

Hi guys, I just washed my car and decided to take a couple of pics while it was still clean, so I thought I would post them up. Got some new 18s and tyres as well, anybody got any opinions on Firenza tyres?? They seem to be pretty good in the dry, but nowhere near as good in the wet as my old Toyo T1-Ss I had on the rears before. Nikr33

I agree, someone should create a directory, so we can have our own mini SAU Vic trades and services directory. That way, we can all use each others services - giving us all more money to spend on our cars

I bought my 'line a couple of years ago from Best Choice Car Brokers on Williamstown Rd. Was 21k for a 94 R33 GTS25T, absolutely immaculate inside and outside. Only mod I could see was a cat back exhaust and tinted windows. Maybe a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, and I have had no probs whatsoever since! I would highly recommend buying a car through Mike there, he even bought the car down to Geelong twice for me. Has anyone else bought a car from here? nikr33

I had a similar prob with the air always being hot when I got my car. It ended up being a little motor or something under the dash near the top of your left foot. It wasn't working properly and the flap that makes the air hold or cold wasn't shutting. It was always as hot as it would go. Sorry I can't be too specific, but the dealer I bought it from had it fixed before I picked the car up, so I didn't have to fix it myself. Hope this helps! Nikr33

Yeah, mine was for 12 months, so I had to hand the licence in. There is no way that I would risk driving it on the road, the consequences are too great, so I haven't driven for 3 months. I am sure I could find plenty of mates who would want to drive it up for me, as long as I give them a quick fang!
-
Can you still go and drive if your licence has been suspended for speeding?? I am starting to have withdrawal symptoms!
-
Actually, I was winning, and when they pulled me up, I was just cruising on the speed limit a few kays up the road. I have no idea where the commodores actually went, they must of seen the cop and taken a side street. I am coming to the realisation that there is not much I can do about it I think. Unfortunately, I might have to sell the line, cause there is not much point in having it sit out the front of the house for a year. Anyone want it!!
-
Do they have a photo or something of my car with the speed on it? Or is it just the speed that is recorded on it? If there is no photo, I might have a chance???
-
Yeah, it was by radar. I don't know much about how the radar works, how does he prove it was me and not the commodore next to me that he got the fix on? Is there any chance that a judge would take my previous driving record into consideration and reduce the suspension?
-
Thats what I am so annoyed about. I am usually a sensible driver, and it was only for a couple of seconds that I was so far over the limit. Plus, it was 11 o'clock at night, and the road is 3 lanes wide in each direction, with no traffic. The worst thing is that the commodores didn't even get pulled over.

Hi guys, Did a bloody stupid thing at 11pm last night. 2 modified VL turbos pulled up next to me at the lights and indicated that they wanted a drag. Stupidly I did, and I got caught. The thing is, we didn't go past 90 in the 70 for 99% of the time, (which is still way over), but at one stage I was looking at the other car and not at my speedo. When I looked down, I was going 120 and slowed down back to 70 again. Surprise, Surprise, this was when the cop got me, when I was going 120 for like 3 seconds. $440 and 12 months. THis is only the second time, I have ever had a drag since I got my licence 3 years ago, and I normally drive the car at the speed limit and in a civil manner. I am not trying to make excuses for speeding, and I am prepared to pay the fine and I think it was a dumb thing to do and all that, but I was wondering if there is any way to appeal the severity of the suspension? I am 21, have had the car for 12 months, it is unmodified, have never ever got a fine or had an accident at all until now. I know you can take it to court, but I don't want to say that I wasn't speeding or dispute the facts. The fact is, that I have to pay the consequences for my actions. So I was wondering if anyone can help with any suggestions? Thanks, and learn from my mistake
