  1. I take that back. The price has dropped hugely!!!!
  2. Are they really r888r's for that price! Even in my little size, I have been quoted over 350 a tyre lol. I could buy z221s for less.
  3. They start making noises and become greasy. But that's when they are so hit pressures are off the gauge. Lol. Ummm sorry to hear that whoever you got quoted off is trying to rip you. But I paid $240 for 245/45/17 nt01s and I paid $150 for 235/40/17 AR1s
  4. They do chew through when you overheat them Just back off a bit and give them a breather
  5. Good work on the nankangs! [emoji106]
  6. I agree. 35 hot is a good bench mark. Seems to respond well. Nt01 vs AR1. I would say they are on par. And they also seem to be wearing better than NT01S.
  7. He's adamant it's a vspec 2 lol
  8. Not wrong. This is the awd class though. I think there were 2 skylines.
  9. I have that same usb charger. [emoji117][emoji118] Tail lights like the goods
  10. I think they are about the same as nt01s. Both like higher pressure, both get a bit noisy when you get them on that point of break away. I'll give them a good crack at Wakefield next month and hopefully I can judge them properly.
  11. Spot on. Understeer basically as the tyre squeal happens. But it was still gripping and allowed my to power slide it out. I think these are just noisy. Still not bad bang for buck.
  12. 35 this time. Probably close to the money. They felt good but will only really know once I go to Wakefield.
  13. Bulahdelah hill climb on Nang Kangs. Not bad. https://photos.app.goo.gl/dRl4Zo4x2vVBXKUg2
  14. Judging from your knowledge I advise you take it to someone who knows about gtrs.
  15. Im also doing buladelah hill climb this Sunday, so I'll see how they feel with higher pressures.
  16. Yeh. So I think that's where I went wrong with them. Dropped the pressure to quick. pb was set on the nt01s. These were 6 tenths off of them. But I couldn't get the pressures right. So next time will be Wakefield where I'll keep the pressures to mid 30's.
  17. Yep I used to use nulon super dot 4 aswell. But one day I cooked the fluid so I switched to penrite super dot 4. Haven't cooked it yet. Both under $10 lol
  18. To expensive lol
  19. ^ really helped those guys in Queensland. In all seriousness, we need more racetracks
  20. So. I used the AR1s on saturday. Did not beat my pb. I would say they are about on par in grip level to my nt01s I had previously.
