  1. My goodness. The seems will be deceiving. It will find one point of entry and then find the path of least resistance to the exit. Oh btw I got quoted over 1 k to get the boot welded and painted. I guarantee that if you chisel out the old filler you will find where it enters because there will be a rust spot. The seems are not welded. They have this type of putty filler that ages and cracks
  2. There is a great thread about this and has helped me and multiple other people. The seal at the base of the window. The one with screws is a culprit. Pull it off and silicone. The tail lights leak. Pull them out and reveal. The bolt holes for the boot. There where it mounts to the guards leak as well. Silicone all those areas and You should have solved it.
  3. Placed 4th on the day. Not bad for a boat. 3 of them were track cars. I drove mine there and back
  4. Look at my build thread. Video of me going around wakefield yesterday. That was the last session of the day
  5. So second track day along on qfm a1rm pads. Performing great as usual. Fluid got hot but pads still stopped the car.
  6. So today was a good day. Have a new PB at Wakefield. Had a blast, boiled coolant yay. At least oil temps stayed around 100 - 110* 1:08 on the last lap on low boost ofcoarse
  7. does it idle stable?
  8. Really wax in Sun? I find hot panels makes it worse. And yes never fear I have tried it by hand as well. I will be trying some new tactics this week and see how I go
  9. It's not worth the effort. Basically you would have to coat everywhere rust is susceptible to start. If you have rust then treat it and paint it. Keep a watchful eye and paint any exposed metal
  10. I'll amuse some of this. Mine is a weekender and track visitor. 0 months off the road. I don't want to count how much money and quarts of blood it's taken me.
  11. Pulsar > n/a skyline
  12. Get a ebc and rid yourself of that t piece
  13. 20 psi is what they push it too
  14. I'll give it a try but I don't see how it could be different to my other fine polishes
  15. Just looked up lime prime. Seems it's just a fine polish which still has oils in it.
  16. I have tried every speed setting. Usually I go for a slower speed and do 2 overlapping passes. It is easy to remove the film of wax. It is not the white residue I am speaking of. Once the wax is removed you can see the darker streaks on the paint which can be manipulated by a cloth. I have tried synthetic, carnauba hydrophobic polymers the lot
  17. If you only have 270kw then no. I think you probably running 16 psi. If you were to get it tuned to 20 psi then you Will find that it might spike to 21 psi and then level out. Do you have a electronic boost controller? If you do then why not just use that as a boost gauge?
  18. Just watched the video, yup, sounds like a boost leak. Check you cooler pipes are tight
  19. Nah man, i was being sarcastic. Lol "rice" I think they are "leb"
