  1. If you have a haltech then just use the launch control it has built in. Its not the bang bang one haha
  2. You have to get that nipple loose. If you undo anything else it will most probably let air in the system. How do you even strip it? Were you using a shifter?

  5. The 2860-7 spool up slightly earlier than the -9. Is there a mark where you want to reach full boost? Lets say for your application full boost would be 20psi...
  6. Op. Have you driven either of these cars? Like many have said. The 34 is a drivers car and the 35 purely is not. One is raw the other is designed to be smooth. Do you like driving a manual And dumping the clutch? Or do you like flappy paddle gearboxes (apparently someone said is just like a manual car. Hmmmm sure) Have you seen the size difference in these 2 cars? This really shouldn't be such a big decision. Drive both and you will know which one is for you.
  7. I use Menzerna polishes with a MINT PRO RO Love the Meguiars next gen wash. Waxes range from Meguiars Gold Class liquid. My wax of choice at the moment. (this on top of the Wolfgang sealant) Meguiars Next gen 2.0. Its a good wax that has a medium level of filling capacity. Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0 (this stuff lasts months) Easy to apply, easy to remove. Takes 12 hours to cure. I have tried a whole range of dodo juice waxes, while being nice to use I would say their longevity was not something to praise. I also have a bottle of dodo juice car wash but it falls short to the Meguiars next gen wash. So many things to list in my arsenal I think would just be overkill. So Ill just post up some pics. This is with next gen 2.0 wax. This is with Meguiars gold class applied over wolfgang deep gloss. (Overcast doesnt do it justice) I would say the colour is deeper though. Here are 2 cars with Wolfgang deep gloss. (I do like using this sealant) I did a full paint correction on this Silvia.

Im thinking if oil pressure light came on while it was spluttering might be that it almost stalled itself and as such dropped oil pressure enough to set off the light, but probably kicked itself back to life. Have you checked the dipstick? Overheating could be a lot of things and it will need to be narrowed down.
  9. So afrs are shit when the problem occurs. Either go and get a smoke test done or get a tune.

  13. All the German cars use that clear. If you are going through the effort of getting It repainted then wack on the ceramic clear. I know I would. Last thing you want is a bird to swing by and say "hey, I'm gonna shit on your freshly painted car" and don't wash it off for a week and have a nice poo stain that ate through your clear. Too far?

  15. Coz cbf. Crack bolt/nut then pull off the pole and continue ratcheting. Its efficient. Besides Its weird. If I do you use my breaker bar I see so much flex in it. Its a kinchrome one.
  16. Meh. I do it as well. 1 meter pole off my ratchets ain't nothing but a g thing. And mine aren't even sidchrome. 1 is repco and the other is some American something something ratchet. Are yours calibre maybe? Op have you gotten this sorted yet?

  20. I don't understand why everyone is hung up on 1st gear. Full boost is full boost. You don't launch on a dyno to see how boost builds do you
