  1. Hey SAU'ers. I have been searching the web and there are so many different ways to setup a catch can. Seeing as I do not completely understand the breather hose setup, this seems a bit confusing and frustrating to me. I have mocked a picture of what I think is a suitable setup. Can one of you please guide me in the right direction?! The green dots are where I think I should remove the hoses and block them off. But then it dawned on me, how does the catch can release pressure?! I know that venting to atmosphere is illegal. So how do i keep it as legal as possible? Any help/guidance is much appreciated.

If you seriously want to control the power to the antenna, then get a missile switch (adds extra coolness) and wire the one side with the antenna wire and the other side to a power source of your choice. Maybe one that is constant when your driving. Acc would be my choice. Then whenever you want the antenna flip that bad boy and boom antenna comes up. Or leave it unplugged if you don't want to go through the hassle.

  7. Hi all. Starting to replace hoses in the engine bay. Wanting to get a breather hose kit next. Can anyone provide me with a picture of where all 3 breather hoses are? I know of the u bend one on top of the rocker cover, but where are the rest located? Difficulty? Can't be too difficult can it? Thanks for your help

  9. No in absolute theory seeing as you have to travel twice the distance and it's taken x amount of time then x times 2 = result. Not power curve, inertia, speed already travelling. Absolute theory. But how about he just goes to the 1/4 and do it. Wouldn't that be better than him telling his mates that he has a 9 sec car just because he trapped 6 sec on the 1/8 mile?! f**king dumbfounded I am.

  20. Maybe see what happens. The dyno has less load so might mean your clutch will actually hold up.
  21. I was in exactly the same boat. I asked my workshop what they think. Seeing as they were tuning and installing the clutch. They said it will be fine. I did however see them do a run in period on the dyno. It will be interesting to see what others think. My clutch is still brand new but it's holding up fine. I'm not launching or clutch kicking. Just driving normally.
