  2. I think those are very good times for a stock GTR. Have a squiz at other GTR drag results and see the times those guys run on higher boost and all th other variables.
  3. Guys I've been reading a lot about installing new gauges into the GTR. I'm getting new auto gauge gauges from justjap. Electrical and all that. I have no problem hooking up boost. But this is te first time I'll be doing water and oil temp. Do I have to install it between the fuel filter and the block? And I don't even know where I should but the water temp gauge. :S. All my research has lead to installing it at the oil filter. But where are the location ,above mentioned gauges, of te stock senders? Any help appreciated. Cheers

  5. Hey guys I bought a intake for my GTR, M's K&N intake. One of the filters unfortunately has a hole due to rubbing . Now im on the hunt for 2 replacement filters. It seems to be a 3" neck, but not sure. Anyone know what filter is a suitable replacement and where to get it? Or anybody have spares lying around that they want to get rid of? Thank you very much
  6. Read this buddy What to look for If treated properly they are great. If mistreated well obviously you know what happens. Just think can you afford to maintain youre car? Its not all that bad. Things break but then you fix it. Sometimes big things break, well then you'll be sweating for a while. A GTST is cheaper to rebuild, and a GTR has two of everything haha (not quite). Both great cars. you just have to decide what youre getting the car for, and make youre own decision.

  9. How about attacking you're car with a clay bar? That should remove all contaminants stuck to you're car. Then cutting and polishing don't have any affects if it's just by hand. Only when you get a machine buffer then you can score or burn the paint. I'm going to clay and cut my car and have done previously on other cars with no damage caused because I did it by hand. I would rate it at 3/10 for skill level required.

Hey all Looking for a full set of Rota torque r/drift's or similar Prefer black 18x10 +15 - +20 In Sydney I have a my stock 33GTR wheels as a bargaining chip if that is what you're looking for($1000 with bridgestone potenza's, 245 wide). They are very good condition with slight rash, but feel privileged because it's Japanese gutter rash haha. Thank's

  17. Hey all. Let me start off by saying I have done a lot of reading. And I mean lot of reading about which turbo is right for me. Basically it has boiled down to me wanting response and a good level of power. I even found that 13 page long thread about 7/9 5 gtss. It was great for the first couple of posts but then you had to start sorting through the pissing contest the emerged. So if I only wanted response I would go the -7's and if I only wanted power Id go -5's or bigger. But the middle point is for me I think. Now to my question. Is the 2860-9 equivalent to the HKS GT SS? (I keep getting snippits of people referring to them as equal, or in the same league if you must) What rpm is full boost achieved? Is the 300kw range achievable with this turbo? Thats all I want to know, Unfortunately with my supreme googling powers I could not find a definative answer. Thanks for any help

  20. ^^^^ what he said. They check to see that the wheel is in the guard. No poke. And they check the width of the track of the tyre. Basically if you're rubbing wheels too fat then you would have increased the tyre foot print of you're car which isn't kosher with gayroads!
