  1. I am only speaking from a electronic point of view, why bother running all that wire which is not needed. I know id rather keep the cabling as short as possible.
  2. they don't have to be run through a relay. It is just like wiring any other gauge or head unit. a afr gauge is not going to draw that much current to warrant a brand new power run from the battery. using the clock is a interesting one for a power source. the fuse probably blew while he was tampering with the wires.
  3. Clearly he means, *for track use only*
  4. Not uncommon. Many do. I know of one place who had a millennium jade nur as a lure for near on a year. It was a very sad example of one too Looked like it had a hefty front end collision.
  5. Have you gone through YouTube or the forums? You want sound but don't care about power you get a kakimoto
  6. They also tried to say it was "normal" however my reply was it is unacceptable to say tread splitting is normal. It's just the lazy way out I think lol.
  7. It saw rev limiter every day!
  8. Don't be so modest. The garrets sometimes come with 9 psi actuators so that is why there might be some confusion. But everyone knows to get 1 bar actuators
  9. Probably 1 bar (if the actuator is 1 bar)
  10. Wow sketchy. Glad that didn't happen to me. Yes there is a bracket underneath the speaker cover that is the anchoring point. And thank you for kind words.
  11. Lol. And the dick remains! Muhaha

  15. Should go map
  16. I'm cool with seniors just displaying an S. Just so that I am prepared for the a) slow driving characteristics or b) sudden use of the brake pedal for no apparent reason.
  17. Not your problem. Insurance company doesn't look up part numbers. Repairer does. When talking to insurance make sure you stipulate all faults including what you feel is mechanical. After they assess you go and get some quotes from some reputable workshops that know imports. There should be no "headache" you are at fault you pay excess you get fixed.
  18. Yours is single turbo no? Can't shuffle with 1 turbo. Did you get retune after going back to stock pump?
  19. GTR? Sure you are not experiencing turbo shuffle?
  20. Didnt need torque splitter. No it shouldnt run constantly. Get different tuner.
  21. And if you utilised your track pads as "rotor cleaners" then you wouldnt have the transition issue. Whilst keeping the track pads cold, everytime you brake it will clean the rotor bit by bit. Continue to do this at street driving level, dont enter bed brake in mode as that will heat up the pads too much and start transferring onto the rotor. This way you could transition brake pads.
  22. Got my Rs-RR tyres yesterday. 2 RR on the front 2 old R on the rear. Jeez these are good. Bit noisy at 70 but wet weather grip is phenomenal. Better than the RSR's when they were new. Steering feel is great, they feel responsive. Im happy to get 2 more I think.
  23. That housing looks to shiny. Probs hi flow.
