  1. It's the rear housing that will kill you. But if you want that peak figure then you will need it
  2. I just wanted to see in what part of the process you were. Now I see your position. Just whack it in and see. You already bought it.
  3. Twin scroll yes. Smaller housing better for response but chokes up top. Is your mind set on garret/hks turbo? Or are you willing to consider a precision turbo which many are running here with great response.
  4. I don't think you can use responsive 800hp and 2.6 in the same sentence haha. You are going to be told to get rb30 bottom end and slap a pretty big turbo on to reach your goals.
  5. You guys don't have good sr tuners around? I'm sure someone that has dabbled in imports or the 240sx that you have over there would be able to find their way around a 32. Imagine if someone went over and made a dedicated skyline workshop. Probably make a killing with the influx of rb's coming in.
  6. Have you considered precision turbo? I just did the conversion. 600kw is a lot of power.
  7. Not to jump on the bandwagon. But come on. Probably one of the most popular sites to get things from Japan. Most often cheaper than nengun and postage is very reasonable. I highly recommend them and their customer service is excellent.
  8. Yeh I know muhaha. It was eating me up lol. People need my opinion! Haha
  9. Indeed. Read on some Evo forums that the sidewalls are much stiffer on the rsrr and grip is apparently on par with rs3's. We will have to see. Also, collinite is being heavily tested by the great nsw weather we are having. Seems to be performing swell.
  10. As far as I am aware, track pads dont put much "layer" on the disk due to their aggressive characteristics. So technically when you put track pads on after a different pad it should clean the surface for you. Maybe you over heated the rotor
  11. Update. Federal Australia have agreed to give me 2 new tyres to try out in the RSRR as they do not make the RSR anymore. Putting them on the car on Saturday so now I can try them out for free and if I don't like them I sell them.
  12. You must have had other restrictions to not be able to crack the 300kw as that is the easiest and most strived for thing of a "stock" GTR. Oh and the fact you chose to push standard turbos that far knowing that you were rolling the dice every time.
  13. Haha. Dang. I forgot
  14. Lol, I double clutch the pulsar on cold mornings because second is a bit stiff. lol Anywho, Nick has -9s and a GTR, don't you have 350kw on pulp?
  15. Correcto, I had remsa all round once apon a time. Not a bad pad at all, except for the dust. Dusted more than the vdub. Honestly if you want a 50/50 pad, then you gotta choose between a1rm or SR's. Or drive with dedicated street and swap over to track pads.
  16. I think this is starting to get out of hand. Not saying you are in the wrong. Just need to kerb your frustration a bit. We understand your pain.
  17. I've heard of navi. I've tried a few Meguiars (paste and liquid) Mothers Dodo juice Zaino Collinite (new fav) Wolfgang (second favourite by a mile) Swissvax (to expensive for what it is) Autoglym Menzerna Haha
  18. No need to do it all again if you've just done 6 hours of prep. I know I wouldn't bother and just put the wax on.
  19. I think it's called yahoogle
  20. It might help to note that I did zero prep on the daily and the wax bonded with the paint fine. It will probably not last as long as a clean prepped surface. But that's the joys of experimenting.
  21. @Robzilla32 Ideally what you want to do is clay then polish then wax. But you will be able to get away with a polish then apply the wax. Take note of my tip before. (Don't you all go buy to much of this, I don't want them to bump the price up like mcquiars or some other stupid expensive brand ) @admS15 I wouldn't risk it hence moving away from federal. But let's see how it all goes. I'll be doing a skid pan on them so if they let go that will probably be the time haha.
  22. I recommend another revolutionary search engine called g something. Anyone?
