Sorry for the delay ladies and gents. Sup regs and entry forms should be ready by Monday week 30/5/11. The entry date has been bumped back until the 14/06/11. Just waiting on Sup regs & other relevant paperwork from CAMS. Again, sorry for the delay. With this news however, I stress the point that if you haven't sent an email for an entry form and sup regs, now would be the time to do so. This event is 100% go!!!!!

As stated previously, the delays are due to a CAMS track inspection being required. The entry forms and supregs will be available in about 2 weeks and the entries will be taken on the 14th of June instead of the 1st of June

Spent a few days in TEmora over the weekend smashing out all the usual finer details with the council and the aviation museum there. The whole town is behind the event and all talking about it. Also found a few things out that have been asked here and on other forums : 1) There is no 98 Octane Fuel in Temora. The nearest is in Wagga. We will have an area set aside for fuel if you if you wish to bring your own and we are speaking with a local BP commercial distributor to see if we can get a mini tanker of Ultimate there for the day. 2) Surface on the runway is excellent. it is fine but coarse, so traction will be excellent. Run off is good as well. 3) Not Nitrous as per CAMS regs 4) You will need to check with where you are staying as to parking for trailers if you are towing your cars. If there is enough interest, we will look at hiring security for the aviation museum so cars/trailers can be parked there for the night. 5) Accomodation is filling VERY fast

Yep, and they took forever. Useless. Never had a good dealing with AASA The only issue is that the Airport has never been raced on in any forme before. No rush. Might delay entries by 1 week

Forms have been delayed a couple of weeks. I am going to Temora for meetings with Council etc etc but CAMS have decided they want a track/venue inspection now, which will be in another 2 weeks. The Sup Regs and Entry forms are done, but we can not release them until the Track/venue inspection is done

Hi Guys Adam here running the event I am going down to Temora on friday the 13th to sus some stuff out, sign paper work with council etc. Any questions, Fire away and I wil answer what I can now. Rest when I get back A few that i have seen through this thread though I can answer : 1) Surface. No gravel and no loose surface (will confim on Friday the 13th) according to the aviation museum. What : Point to Point, single release sprint over 1000m in a straight line When : Saturday, 22nd October, 2011 Where : Temora Aviation Museum, Temora Airport, Temora ... Time : Arrival Time TBA. DRIVERS BRIEFING AT TBA Cost : $125 per person (maximum two entrants per car) Number of Entants : 120 Entries : Entries will be taken from 8am on Wednesday, 1st June, 2011. There are 120 spots/entries available. Entries will be taken in the order they are recieved. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE AT TIME OF ENTRY with reciept number as proof of entry paid. IMPORTANT POINTS 1) All participants must hold a Level 2 Speed CAMS license at a minimum. This will require you to be a member of a CAMS affiliated car club 2) THIS IS NOT A BURNOUT COMP. THERE WILL BE NO TYRE WARMING WHAT SO EVER. IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN BURNOUTS, PLEASE ATTEND WSID ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT. 3) CARS WILL BE CHECKED OVER BY A CAMS SCRUITNEER ON THE DAY.
