il take the gear knob!

Hey guys ok so i tried hooking up my greddy turbo timer which is meant to be direct plug and play in my r33 gtst, the turbo timer turns on and all the buttons work etc but when i turn the ignition off the engine just goes off straight away as normal and my immobiliser (which is mongoose) makes a horrible clicking or zapping noise almost like a wire shorting out. Any ideas what the problem might be? Its obvious that its probably to do with my alarm/immobiliser but how do i fix the problem? Cheers guys, Dave

hey guys just wondering if anyone can give me some advice. over the past few weeks my r33 gtst seems to be struggling with power gain wen the turbo kicks in, my boost gauge reading is the same as its always been, and i can hear my pod filter sucking in air, but there is definitley a smaller power gain to the way it used to be. can anyone help me out with what this might mean? cheers

ok so ive recently bought a 400r front bar for my series 1 skyline. 2 things: it wont fit unless i remove the front reo. is this a common problem? do many people take it off and leave it off to fit intercoolers/front bars etc? secondly, the bar didnt come with indicators, but it has a mould for round indicators, which is obviously different to series 1 indicators, any ideas how i can get past this problem? thanks heaps Dave

yeah thats what i thought cuz a leak causes overboosting hey. what if i just clamped the vaccum hose cuz its only the part i cut thats leaking.

boost gauge?

well i have a boost controller installed but im pretty sure it isnt boosted. i cut the airline to the dead boost gauge now its hissing lol. this isnt bad tho is it?

the only reason i want to do it is cuz my aftermarket ones dead and some indication of how much boost im running is better than none. the main thing i need to know is where do the wires connect to the stock boost gauge? is if located behind the dash?
