No you don't have to turn the knob... you can pull it yeh, you need to go to an exhaust shop so they can place it in for you...the rest is easy Nengun has them

yeh its restricted, i dont push it when fully closed but you can notice the difference in response. Its great though if you drive pass cops halfway.... i didnt really do it half way...its either OPEN or SHUT for me
