hey all new to the skyline scene only ever owned v8s and vl's in paticular but convinced my sister to by a skyline i drove it back from sydney for her and havent looked back since sold me vl and got a 33 gtst lovin it

yeah it gives a whole fast n furious feel to it lol na i was actually watchin some drift vids on u tube n saw it and thought it looked good but as it sits low in the car it cant be seen from out side by h/w patrols goin past me so it looks like the car is untouched ; D

ahhhhh i see my sisters 33 gtst has a ecu that looks like the standard one but has 300zx written on it and has been re tuned by envy dyno so thats wat that is?? well prob solved looks like she is gettin an apexi upgrade and im gettin her hand me down should be problem solved : D

keep it lookin stock and stay away from hotspots its as easy as that ya dont need shiny parts to go fast just be sensible when u build ya car up and dont mouth off n be a smartarse or u will get done like my mate that got done for havin a cigarete burn in his passenger seat lshmsfoaidmt however in saying that only h/w patrol can defect u but i still think they have way to much power over this as they can defect u for absolutley anything so keep it lookin stock and definatley dont mouth off lol

is a z32 ecu the standard one in the car or one from a diff car??

got my boost gauge mount on the shroud behind the steering wheel so it covers the stock one in the dash i moved it there as it was covering the oil pressure gaufe took me 2 seconds and looks really good

where abouts is nistune??

might of bent something like input shaft or drive shaft

yeah alread got boost gauge it was runnin 12 and turned down it was runnin 5

thanks i heard that nistune ones arent reprogrammable though and any mods require a new ecu

i own a 33 gtst series 1.5 and am havin problems as described in my earlier post thinkin an ecu upgrade is the only way out but my knowledge isnt the best just wondering wat i sould be lookin for and wat prices i could expect to pay ive been told about an apexi power fc and told they are around $1300 is there any out there cheaper than this??

it doesnt even half to be at a high rpm it dies at about half throttle and when its not in if im drivin in fifth at half throttle doinn 100kph it does the same thing and from time to time feels like the power is surging

also i was lookin at groundin out the wire to get high boost all the time but the wires to my swithch are blue wit a stripe and a green wire any ideas

i have recently bought a r33 gtst series 1.5 im brand new to owning a skyline and have never driven turbos before i feel i have an issue with the cars performance however it seems to lack power and a bit of it on the dyno it only put out 175.9rwhp mods are front mount k&n pod exhaust n cold air intake it has relitively new splitfire coil packs i recently purchased a turbosmart b/c however when i hook it up it starts to boost normal and then dies as if the ecu (standard) is cuttin the fuel or spark even when its turned all the way off so it has been removed however the car still seems to be over fueling or watever i have changed plugs, fuel filtet, cleaned a/f a/f hotwire tried a diff ecu still standard reset original ecu and i removed stock 2 stage boost cause when stage 2 kicked it in it done nothin any ideas would be greatly appreciated sandman
